"Everything was great with one exception. We were not warned that the building heating system was turned off for the season. On the first few days of our stay in late May the weather was quite cold. We contacted building management and they were very helpful in supplying a portable electric heater to take the edge off the cold."

We cooked as a group almost every night and the long table in the kitchen was perfect for all of us to gather around. Dr. Carlucci was wonderful - very easy to communicate with and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and areas to explore. "Was met with a big smile, an offer for a coffee, and very easy check-in which was welcome after hiking and finishing in the rain. It is wonderfully situated if you love small towns, mountains and lakes. The breakfast right before I checked out was really good and energized me for another hike in Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo. Would stay here again. Thank you!"
