Nicer than the photos show
The photos do not do justice to the place. It is much bigger, airier, and nicer than the photos show. It is clean, there's a lovely garden and grill. The kitchen worked well for cooking. There's a really lovely grocery store within walking distance. The host is easy to communicate with. The location is terrific because it's super close to the beach and to restaurants and other businesses in town. A few specifics:
- water pressure in the showers is very weak, so be ready for a slower shower experience.
- if you are planning to mostly go to the free beach, this place is ideal. If you want to rent chairs and umbrellas, then you'll have about a mile walk on the boardwalk to get there to where you can rent something. All other closer spots are rented by the season.
- the host offers some beach towels. they also offer beach chairs, but they are all broken. So, your best bet is to rent chairs.
For us, this place was ideal.
