We booked a city view room, but was given a dingy room facing a dingy patio with loud AC noise and not pleasant to look at. We communicated with the host and the reply was that they can not do anything as all rooms are booked, just offered some breakfast coupons, worth 5 bucks each at the most. This is not a hotel, it is an apartment turned into rooms on one floor of the building with no amenities. The plumbing is old with murky water and rumbling when you turn the facets on. Hard to communicate with the host, did not receive an email for checking in 24 hours ahead as stated in the booking and had to initiate a whatsup call ourselves to find out about the checking in arrangements. Overall very disappointing experience.

Good location. The bus stop to and from the airport using the fast and 6 Euro airport shuttle bus is only six minutes away and the bus seems to have been running within 5 minutes of the scheduled time. Pretty good location for reaching the tourist heart of Palermo with four corners about 16 minutes walk away. Make sure you eat the lobster pasta dish at Enomis for 30 Euros on Victor Emanuel one or two minutes away from Maqueda. This room had good Wi-Fi and a decent sized shower. There was no breakfast or laundry.
