The apartment greets you immediately with its decor and attention to detail giving you the warm, safe and cosy felling you are used to when you are in your own home.
This bright, sunny flat consists of two confortable good-sized bedrooms, a cosy and spacious living room and two newly fitted bathrooms with shower. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, with oven, dishwasher, plus plenty of pots and pans if you get in the mood for cooking.
The bedrooms are quiet and tastefully decorated with plenty of storage space. The living room is equipped with a comfortable sofa bed which can be easily pulled out into a bed that promises a good night’s sleep. The flat sleeps up to 5 people.
In just a few minutes walk you can reach some of the major places of cultural and tourist interest in the city.
You would be less than 10 minutes walk of: Abatellis palace, home to Sicilian Regional Gallery, Sant’Anna Gallery of Modern Art,Church of San Francesco d’Assisi, Magione, with its Arab - Norman architecture and many others.
WARNING:
- TOURIST TAX € 4 per person per night. Tax is due for the first 4 consecutive nights. The tax shall be paid cash on arrival. -In the courtyard behind the apartment there is a bar that offers international breakfast each morning. As evening falls, it transforms into a cozy tapas bar, where you can unwind with a refreshing cocktail or savor a tasty dinner. They host music concerts twice a week, allowing you to enjoy the melodies right from the comfort of your bedroom balcony. Please note that all musical events wrap up by 10.30 p.m., ensuring a peaceful night’s rest.
- Anyone who is planning to drive in Palermo's historic centre needs to be aware of Restricted Traffic Areas, or Zona Traffico Limitato in Italian, abbreviated to ZTL. The old town centre has set up these limited traffic zones in order to reduce congestion and pollution, and there are significant fines for driving into one of these zones unauthorized.
No cars without permits can be allowed in this area. So, If you are planning on driving in the historic center of Palermo, make sure you inform me about that, so I can tell you where to take your 5-euros daily entrance ticket and how to activate it in order to get in the city centre without getting fined.

Out host was very helpful and always there if we needed her! The apartment is located very centrally in the old city, and easy to get were ever we needed. The apartment itself was very nice, clean, and had all of the amenities we needed. Overall it was a great stay for us in Palermo and the western side of Sicily! We would definitely go there again.

Perfect Palermo, Perfect Apartment

My wife and I spent 5 nights in Palermo and stayed at this charming apartment. From the moment we decided to book, our host Chiara was helpful, polite, and accommodating. We altered our booking, asked questions, sought advice about the city, and each time Chiara showed patience and professionalism. It is fair to say that Palermo might not be everyone’s cup of tea, however, we simply fell in love with the city and had a truly wonderful break. A large part of this was due to the location, comfort, and cleanliness of Chiara’s apartment. It is so handy for all the main attractions, whilst still feeling like a quiet residential retreat. It has a homely warmth and lets you feel relaxed and comfortable after a day of sightseeing or a night sampling Palermo’s amazing food and nightlife.In summary, if you are considering visiting Palermo, don’t think twice. If you do visit, don’t stay anywhere else, this place is perfect.

Exceed expectations

Wonderful from check in to check out. Great location, peaceful, close to authentic restaurants and walking distance to many attractions. As a working holiday the accommodation was suitable with sufficient internet connectivity and work space. No need to look further.

Chiara hat uns nett empfangen und alles notwendige erklärt.die Wohnung liegt im 1. Stock und sehr zentral zwischen Via Roma (Busse ) und Meer, viele nette Bars und Restaurants sind gleich um die Ecke, aber durch den kleinen Platz mit Palmen war es ruhig...allerdings waren wir Anfang Januar dort,wenn nicht so viel los ist.Als am 2. Tag in der Nachbarwohnung sehr laute Umbauarbeiten begannen hat sich Chiara sofort gekümmert und dies abstellen können.Im Wohnzmmer konnten wir gut entspannen, das Bett im 1. Schlafzimmer war mit 1,60 m etwas schmal für uns Ältere,diss Schlafzimmer wird von einem riesigen Schrank dominiert und war für unseren Geschmack etwas nüchtern eingerichtetZur Abreise empfahl uns Chiara einen Freund mit Flughafenshuttle Service, was prima geklappt. Dies könnten andere Reisende vielleicht auch für die Anreise nutzen? Ist deutlich günstiger als ein Taxi.Da wir gern selbst kochen: Geschirr und Küchengeräte könnten mal ergänzt werden...Ansonsten: vielen Dank an Chiara!

Beautiful apartment!

This is a beautifully decorated place in the historical district of Palermo. It had everything that we needed, however we did need to purchase extra toilet paper and soap. Great A/C, wifi and amenities. Chiara met us for check in and was so helpful providing a map and recommendations for the area. She was always excellent with communication. Unfortunately, the washing machine broke while we were there and she had a technician there to fix it the next day and even took our clothes and washed and dried them herself to return to us prior to our departure. Take advantage of her offer to provide prearranged taxi service to and from the airport. It was so helpful! Great restaurants close by, and location was perfect! I highly recommend!!

Spacious apartment in charming neighborhood

We enjoyed this comfortable, spacious apartment in the vibrant Kalso neighborhood for our week in Palermo. Chiara met us and gave us an orientation to the apartment and local spots. Comfortable beds, AC, balconies were nice amenities. There is a fantastic bakery just around the corner for our morning cornetti. We ate in many terrific restaurants just a few minutes stroll away. And we were able to reach the train station, waterfront, and many landmarks on foot. Would definitely stay here again!

Mit einer Freundin verbrachte ich um den Jahreswechsel 2023/2024 insgesamt vier Wochen in Palermo, und wir genossen diesen langen Aufenthalt sehr. Chiaras Wohnung Xirba ist optimal gelegen, sie wurde unser Zuhause, wo wir uns sehr wohlfühlten. Der Blick in die Palmen war uns jeden Tag aufs Neue eine Freude, wir hätten kein besseres Domizil finden können. Mit dem Stadtteil Kalsa hatten wir die richtige Wahl getroffen, Restaurants, Bars, Sehenswürdigkeiten, der Hafen, Bahnhof, Busbahnhof,Geschäfte, alles war unkompliziert fußläufig zu erreichen. Und unsere Vermieterin Chiara kümmerte sich vorbildlich um An- und Abreise sowie um diverse andere Kleinigkeiten. Vielen herzlichen Dank!

Fabulous place!

Chiara’s place was perfect for us. It is clean, comfortable, well appointed with comfortable beds, great showers, good tv, and very secure. The location is ideal in the historic district with tons of great restaurants, bakeries, bars and sites within easy walking distance. Chiara is a perfect host- she was great to communicate with and she provided easy check-in and a good orientation to Palermo for us. It was really helpful and got us off to a good start. Highly recommended. I hope Chiara’s place is available if we come back to Palermo!

Exceptional!

We really enjoyed our four night stay at this property. The location is great, we were really glad that we rented in this area of Palermo. It is a vibrant part of town, with a lot of restaurants and really interesting artists shops all around. There is so much to discover in this area that you may miss if you're not staying there. The apartment itself is perfect...clean, comfortable, spacious and well stocked. The owner is very easy to work with and very kind and helpful to travelers. We would definitely rent this property again and we would highly recommend it to other travelers.

Perfect apartment on a pefect place

We stayed for 6 nights in Palermo in the apartment. Its on a perfect spot in the middle of the old town near all you need and want to visit. Apartment has everything you need for a relaxed rest after visiting the busy city. The owner personally received us to inform us on all we need to know. She was also very helpful on getting to and from the apartment. We liked it very much and will stay there again when we return to Palermo.

This was a very pleasant stay in a beautiful apartment, especially enjoyed by our group f designers. The accommodations for our two couples worked out well with separate bedrooms and bathrooms with ample kitchen and living area. The setting next to a lovely park in Kalsa and next to many historic sites . Chiara was kind to guide us to good restaurants and other places in the city. A wonderful experience. We hope to return.

Wonderful apartment very suitable for a long stay

I rented this property for five weeks and the longer I stayed the more I appreciated the location. It’s in a fascinating part of Palermo and close to the main attractions. It’s very close to restaurants and bars, but there’s no street noise reaching the apartment. Highly recommended!
