Splendid Hotel La Torre

"Room was ok but not great We moved to ocean view room and was much better. Service in the restaurant was not great. Service at the bar was not great. We could not order lunch on the terrace so We went out and bought cold cuts and buns and we were not allowed to eat it on the large patio that was empty. We were told to go eat it in our room. Was not impressed ."

"The room was not cleaned when we got there. They did send someone to clean it right away. It’s very hard to get to if you’re dragging luggage. A lot of uphill broken roads to get there. But it is convent to bus and trains. There is also a step in the middle of the room which is very I convent."

"The first room we were given there was no working AC. It took contacting the front desk 3 times for them to finally tell us that it was broken in the room and they couldn't fix it. They then offered us a different room that was not on the renovated portion of the hotel. So we move rooms and this room was only slightly better. The AC was at least somewhat functional, but not nearly as functional as the ones in the working renovated rooms. There were plastered up holes on the walls and mold in the shower. The next day the only light went completely out in the bathroom and it took going to the front desk another three times to get that fixed. The breakfast was decent and there is sufficient parking, but could not in good conscience recommend this hotel."
