Whiskey Rocks is a Palm Springs paradise fit for rock stars and their dogs! Award-winning midcentury architect Hugh Kaptur designed this exquisite, sunny bungalow, which is close to all this desert getaway has to offer. It offers incredible mountain views and complete privacy!
OUTDOOR LIVING
The private wrap-around courtyard offers maximum privacy. It features a heated pool, outdoor shower, large spa, pool toys and floats, cooling misters, a large outdoor kitchen with a gas grill, a secluded fire pit, lots of lounging areas, citrus trees, and did we mention those fantastic mountain views?
LIVING AREA
The kitchen offers a large island with seating and opens onto the comfy living room and dining table that seats six. There’s an extra-large Frame TV, a remote-controlled gas fireplace, and a wall of glass doors that open to the private backyard and those mountain views. You’ll find everything you need to stay in and cook, and coffee is a priority here with your choice of coffee makers. The mid-century bar has plenty of wine, whiskey, and martini glasses.
PRIMARY BEDROOM
A massive bedroom with a quality king memory foam mattress, large flat-screen TV, walk-in closet, remote-controlled electric fireplace, and Alexa-controlled blackout shades that open to a spectacular mountain view with a large ensuite bathroom with a walk-in rain shower and sliding door to the pool.
ROCK AND ROLL GUEST ROOM
You are surrounded by years of rock memorabilia from your favorite bands. Kick back with a quality king memory foam mattress, a large flat-screen TV, ample closet space, a road case desk to plan your next tour, sliding glass door courtyard access, and a Marshall Amp minifridge for those late-night meet-and-greets. There is a podcast setup with a Yeti Nano USB mic and lighting should you need to Zoom or create content.
OUT OF THIS WORLD OFFICE/THIRD BEDROOM
The wood-panel midcentury office features a built-in workspace with a large TV that doubles as a computer screen. It has a classic midcentury chair, NASA and aviation memorabilia, a couch that unfolds into a comfy queen-size memory foam third bed if needed, and sliding glass door access to the courtyard.
GUEST/HALL BATHROOM
Nicknamed The Library, this bathroom features a walk-in tiled shower, a selection of books written by the owners and their friends, and even a framed fan letter from a former U.S. President.
