This newly upgraded Mid-Century Modern, including solar power in 2020 and new flooring in early 2019, provides the best of indoor/outdoor living. Light-filled with an open floor plan makes Lima Modern a wonderful space for cooking meals with friends and family or simply relaxing. The Living Room's sprawling couch is a great place to nap, read, or watch a movie on the 52 inch TV. Wake up, step outside for morning views of the beautiful San Jacinto mountains, and spend your day lounging by the pool. Original artwork and tasteful design give this house the feel of a personal retreat. The modern upgrades blended with original details make it the perfect Palm Springs mid-century getaway.

The yard offers tranquility and relaxation in a lovely setting. A beautiful pool is surrounded by tall palm trees, gorgeous mountain views and is very private. Additional outdoor amenities are a BBQ grill and several seating areas, including one with a fire pit. Located in the famous Movie Colony, you are within walking distance from downtown Palm Springs, where you will discover downtown shopping, Ruth Hardy Park, art galleries, the Palm Springs Art Museum, and many fine restaurants. A serene and beautiful place in the desert awaits you, only 5 minutes by taxi from the airport.

Beautiful Home in Great Location.

Well maintained home conveniently located near downtown and close to all amenities. Owner was very responsive and made our stay memorable. I would highly recommend this rental.

Quick trip to the area to explore the town, Indian Canyon, and Joshua Tree. I cannot think of one thing that would have made this little house better. Exactly as described- well equipped, clean, great outdoor space, convenient location, cool art deco vibes

Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Conveniently located to downtown Palm Springs and the airport. Pool was tranquil and perfect temperature. House had everything you need. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Owner was easy to contact and readily responded to our needs. Would book with this owner again. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

A tranquil and rejuvenating stay

My mother and I booked a last minute stay at this home and it was just perfect for our quick getaway. Great Palm Springs Bungalow

Everything was great. Location is far enough off the strip to be quiet, but close to everything. House is well kept with a nicely appointed kitchen. Two nice beds in the bedrooms. Oh, and the pool was refreshing. Would definitely visit again!

A perfect retreat location!

The owner made it an easy process to check-in and quickly handle a minor issue. The neighborhood is quiet and the yard and pool maintenance was non-intrusive. I felt very safe staying here and healthy during the pandemic.

This was our second visit to Lima Modern and it was another perfect week staying there. We knew what to expect and the place was even nicer and more polished than the previous visit. I love this place. It's quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Everything you need is supplied. The pool at night on an air mattress was especially relaxing. I just want acknowledge Francie as a wonderful host. I hope to return to Palm Springs and it I do, this will be the first place I'll check for availability.

Our wonderful stay

We spent a relaxing 9 nights at Lima Modern with one other couple. It was centrally located - easy access to downtown either by foot or by car. We spent a few nights eating outside and used the pool daily. Such a quiet neighborhood too. We loved it. Thanks Francie for letting us enjoy your house. We plan to be back in Palm Springs next year and would love to stay there again!

Relaxing Vacation

We very much enjoyed our five-day stay at Lima Modern. We spent much of our time in the very quiet and private backyard pool area. The location of the home was fairly protected from the infamous Palm Springs winds, and all of the patio and other furniture was in excellent condition. The neighborhood is quite, and we also enjoyed morning and evening walks in the area almost every day. The main drag, where bars and restaurants are located, is only about a mile away.

Fabulous desert home

This property was everything we could have wished for and more. Great location. Wonderful pool and garden area and so peaceful Home was fully equipped inside and out. Kitchen in particular had plenty of utensils and serving dishes TV had full cable and Amazon services Lots of little extra touches Francie could not have been more helpful We loved our peaceful desert retreat after a long road trip Would definitely stay again

The Movie Colony - Palm Springs

Handy, comfortable location in the Move Colony neighborhood of Palm Springs. About a mile walk to Palm Canyon Drive. Obviously can't beat the weather in February/March in Palm Springs. Walk to shops and restaurants or stick around the VRBO to swim in the pool.

Great escape from the pandemic

We had an amazing time at this property. We pretty much grilled all day long and swam in the heated pool. Location is perfect and the scenery is simply beautiful. The real treat comes when the sun starts to set. I highly recommend this home to just get away from it all. Francie is an amazing host and responsed quickly to all my inquiries. We will be back.

Perfect accommodations!

We are two couples in Palm Springs for a family wedding at The Parker. We could not have asked for a better stay. Lima Modern is clean, comfortable, super cute and perfect for two couples. The entire home was well equipped. Nothing more needed whatsoever. We cooked, swam, enjoyed the outdoor and indoor living spaces immensley, and the location could not have been more convenient! Weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our time at Lima Modern. The host was very responsive when we arrived Thursday afternoon to a dirty pool. It was good to go by early Friday morning. Great property in a convenient area of town. If you have never been to Palm Springs make sure you check out the noise ordinance information for private rentals before you book. Overall a fantastic experience.

the Lima experience

My sister and i were looking to start the new year with a relaxing stay in a peaceful setting. Lima Modern was all that and more! the house is clean, well appointed, and in a cozy, quiet neighborhood. Francie was the consummate host. from the very start, she was patient and answered all questions. working with her was easy, and comfortable. she made us feel right at home in her lovely little home. i would recommend this property to any and all who are looking to relax in a beautiful, quiet setting. we will most certainly be back!!
