What a great property! Loved the surrounding view. Such a great place to relax and loved the decor. Everything we needed was provided. The cold plunge was a great surprise! Will be returning for sure .
Everything about my stay at the Monkey tree property was just as i wanted it: peaceful, and thoughtful. I believe that the managers have added every touch imaginable. I loved the warm pool, and I appreciated how responsive the management is if there is an issue. I will return.
Clean and basic. Annoying that you have to close the shades at night to prevent people from looking in and have no view out. Also, light still gets into the room making it hard to sleep. The property was nice. Location pretty good. Just the room itself was mediocre. Also, terrible art on walls. Super tacky.

Bringing dogs
I mentioned that we were bringing our two dogs in the reservation - but it was not clear to me the cost that would incur till we were at the property. Granted I missed it on the check in email - but it would have been helpful to list it when you get an estimate. It was unnecessarily expensive.
The photographer gets 5* for making this property to appear what it is NOT! I have never given a bad review before. But I do read them and you should too. There is a reason that this place is empty. WE NEVER EVEN OPENED THE ROOM DOOR. It was so bad that we couldn't get past the grounds. Do not be fooled with the "Avant" company trying to portray a luxury resort appearance. This place is built like a compound with a locked metal door (comparable to the entrance to a run down apartment complex).NOT a "gate" that leads you to believe that you will drive through. You will be inside the compound with your car sitting right next to the street in a dirty, rusty, beat up parking lot. What originally got my attention to this listing was the EV chargers. If you have an electric car, they have two old rusty, warn down chargers that I doubt will help you much at all. Chargers are everywhere in Palm Springs. Cheesy displays and lights everywhere. You are better off at a Motel. The only nice thing that I have to say is that there was a housekeeper that was very nice to help us find a "manager" as you could clearly see the understanding on her face. They are not an honorable company and once you pay you are stuck with trust alone. This company did nothing to help us and took every penny, including a late check-out fee that I prepaid for. TOTAL misrepresentation of a property that we never stepped foot in the room. There are much nicer places to stay in PS with comparable prices.
