Wonderful stay

This is our 2nd visit to this fabulous home. Everything was perfect and large enough for the 6 of us. We love the location in the Movie Colony and convenient to downtown Palm Springs. Jeff and Monica were always available with any questions we had. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Fantastic House

The house is beautiful, it is larger than it looks in the photos. Kitchen is nicely equipped, gas fireplaces inside and outside. We had a great time, and didn’t want to leave the lovely sunny and peaceful courtyard, your own private resort.

Palm Springs Oasis!

We had a great stay here! We enjoyed all the space but particularly the backyard which was truly an oasis! And fresh grapefruits off the tree on the property were an extra treat!!

Perfect Getaway for a Small Group

The house was so charming and perfect for a long weekend getaway with the family. The backyard is absolutely incredible! The pool was too cold to comfortably use this time of year, but we enjoyed the hot tub nightly while stargazing. We went through a lot of towels so we really appreciated that they were plentiful. The Movie Colony location can’t be beat! Everything was within a 5-10 minute drive and the house is in a nice, safe neighborhood.

Beautiful Spanish Home

This home was beautiful. We truly enjoyed our business retreat . The house fit our needs perfectly as each bedroom had its own bathroom and shower. The pool was beautiful, clean, and the spa heated quickly. There was plenty of space with two living rooms, and a large dining table, as well as a breakfast bar and large kitchen. The listing description is accurate and the hosts were accommodating and easy to reach prior to our stay. Checking in and check out was seamless. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful and comfortable home

We just turned from our wonderful time at this lovely home. We are 3 older couples and we each had a nice room with our own bathroom. We loved spending time in the Pool and jacuzzi. This is a beautiful home with plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable and enjoy our time together. Kitchen also had everything we needed. Jeff and Monica were easy to communicate with. We will return again

Warning! Citations!

The house rules informs of only 3 cars allowed. Be careful, if you have a 4th car parked on the drive way or on the streets, you will get a citation. My family and I got a $500 dollar citation for 2 extra vehicles parked. There’s no sign on the street or the house owner does not warn you about this. We should have been warned. Be aware!!!

Great backyard and location

The home is well located to downtown Palm Springs with only a 15 minute walk. The backyard is fantastic with lots of outdoor living space. Jeff and Monica were very responsive to little issues. Check in was a breeze.

The house was great….layout worked perfectly for our group.

Area of improvement would be the TV setup in the living room. The remotes did not work with each other and cable box not very user friendly manually. Smart TV would be the way to go. Another area of improvement is the missing hot water in the casita from the hand wash sink. Overall the house was great but little improvements would go a long way from turn key. Thank you for the opportunity

My ideal 60th pandemic birthday!

I can not speak highly enough of Jeff and Monica's property. It was the perfect cozy, warm place to be with my pandemic family to celebrate my 60th birthday. Besides the delightfulness of the house, the thing that stands out the most was how attentive, responsive and inviting the host's were. They went out of their way to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. We enjoyed the park nearby and the fact that we were a short walk into town. We definitely pain on returning! Greg

Wonderful Wonderful House

This house is a dream! Something from another time that is long gone in California. The first time you walk up the path to the front door it’s like a fairy tale house. Monica and Jeff’s love of Mexico and it’s traditional crafts can be seen everywhere in the Hacienda. It is gorgeous! It was a privilege to stay here and we can’t wait to return. Monica and Jeff, thank you so much!

Stunningly beautiful and relaxing getaway

This beautifully decorated 1930's Spanish hacienda was just stunning. Every detail of the house was gorgeous from the glassware to the outside benches. Jeff and Monica were incredibly helpful and communicative and we had an amazing weekend relaxing by (and in) the pool and jacuzzi, cooking big dinners in the well stocked kitchen, and staying up late talking in the magical backyard. We hope to go back every year!

Stunning property, great location, a few rather minor issues

The photos of this house do not do it justice - it is a stunning property with a beautiful outdoor space. The pool and hot tub were perfect, and our hosts were very kind and accommodating, making check in and check out very easy. The three bedrooms are widely spaced, each with an ensuite bathroom, making it ideal for friends who like to be able to retreat to their private spaces within the house. The attention to detail for authentic Hispanic mission style architecture was impressive - beamed ceilings with Spanish tile roofs, ceramic floors, and imported wooden front doors. French doors along every wall that enclosed the courtyard pool made for a huge indoor/outdoor living space during nice weather, which we had for most of our stay. The location was great, too, just a 30 minute walk to downtown in a safe, attractive neighborhood. There were a few amenities lacking that one would otherwise expect at a property of this value. We could find only a couple of pans, but no pots, measuring cups, imperial measuring spoons (there were metric), plastic cups (which is odd since the instruction sheet said no glass by the pool), washcloths, and essential staples like salt, pepper, and sugar. There were cobwebs and burnt out bulbs in the chandeliers, switches for the overhead fans were either nonexistent, or we just couldn't find them, and some of the outlets were worn out to the point of not holding the plug in. I found the master bed too soft, which gave me a backache, but this may just be a personal preference. There was no counter/vanity space in 2 of the ensuite bathrooms, making it difficult to find a place to put toiletries, and no bedside table in the casita bedroom. All 4 toilets seemed to have issues with flush strength. All in all, these were minor annoyances to an otherwise superb property. With just a few easy fixes, this place would get 5 stars from me, hands down. I would definitely recommend staying here, just bring anything you might need.

Palm Springs Movie Colony Hacienda!!!

This fabulous 3 Bd, 4 Ba hacienda with spectacular pool/spa/courtyard is the perfect getaway in Palm Springs. The location is very easy to Palm Cyn Drive in the heart of P.S. The backyard is very private and large with beautiful tile through out the yard. There is a great BBQ and an outdoor fireplace which we used every night! There is even a small orchard of citrus trees on the side of the house. The inside of the house is hacienda charming with all the right furniture and wood beams throughout the house. Staying here is a real treat!!! We can't wait to return!

Slice of Paradise in the Desert

Amazing 1930’s Spanish style home!! Details such as wire wheeled beams, clavos, and wrought iron throughout! Beautiful lush landscaping, which provides great shade in the heat! Entire property is gorgeous and much bigger than it appears in the photos. The owners were amazing and promptly answered questions. Will definitely be my first choice when I come back to Palm Springs. PS the beds were extremely comfortable with very soft sheets :)
