"Our stay at LUX was exceptional. The amenities are clean, the staff is ultra nice. The beach in front of the hotel is probably the best we’ve visited. We were there for our honeymoon and for my husband’s birthday and we were spoiled with so many surprises, like champagne, cake, massages, cocktails mixing class and a number of other things. There is also so much to do, that if you wish, you don’t have to leave the hotel. There is a program with number of events every day - for children and for adults. We visited the spa, used the tennis court, went to the cinema night. Everything was perfect during our stay."

The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant is 1st class- excellent variety and quality of dining options. Plenty of tasty veggie food. The live cooking stations are at the top of their game. The beach is spotless, plenty of spaces to relax, clear water, plenty of water activities are included. "

"We travelled from Australia and stayed at this beautiful hotel in Mauritius, let me tell you hands down this is one of the best hotels I have been to with breathtaking sea views, private beach, beautifully unique designed hotel and best five star in class service. There is one highlight that we will never forget which is the dine in at the Tek Tek restaurant with our own private chef. The six course menu was inspired by the islands rich culture and let me tell you the food was on another level with the combination of flavours the dishes were perfection. Each dish was made with love from the Chef. Thank you Chef Shiva and Helper Karan for the most wonderful night and dine in experience you both made our experience staying at Mauritius incredible. "The hotel looks really nice from the outside and the entrance and foyer convey a lovely ambiance. Checking in was a very relaxed affair. They made us feel very welcomed as we came in from the heat, by seating us on some comfortable chairs and serving a refreshing drink whilst completing all the formalities. Whilst waiting for the room to be readied, they gave a tour of the hotel and it was beautiful - very clean and fairly quiet and relaxed. The perfect getaway. Rooms are arranged in blocks and only have three floors or so. I didn't see any lifts, so that is a consideration for those with mobility issues and heavy luggage when checking out although you can ask for a porter. Rooms were enormous with huge comfortable beds, huge bathrooms and a lovely balcony. The food was plentiful and delicious, the beach was gorgeous and the staff were amazing. Having never stayed here before, I would not hesitate to book another stay."

"The resort is fantastic. We had a wonderful time there for the 9 days we were there. The food is delicious, the beach is beautiful and the resort has quite a lot of fun activities, some of which included if you have the right package. The hotel has taxis nearby which are needed every time you want to go out as it is quite far from anything else than the local beach and golf course."
