Experience the Pure Life in the Private Jungle Paradise of Ojochal
10/10 Excellent
"The house is very clean, comfortable, private and quiet. We saw many monkeys, birds, and various wildlife. Everything is maintained to perfection and the kitchen had everything you need to cook. Dawn was always available and was one of our best managers. We have traveled to Costa Rica for the last 10 years and stayed at many VRBO rentals but this is one of the nicest ones and we would return to this house again."
"The absolutely lap of luxury located at the top of the world. Most breathtaking views in Costa Rica! You are perched in the middle of the rainforest overlooking the ocean on one side and mountains on the other. The rooms are clean and luxurious, the food and drinks are amazing and we can’t say enough about the warmth and care of the staff. Best massage I ever had was here. "
"This property is beautiful, tasteful, understated and in the jungle. It is small and intimate with only a few villas and attentive hosts. Villas are not large but are well appointed and very clean and comfortable. This place is a real find. Our stay was great in every way. "

"Love the location, great jungle setting, Toucans, Parrots, other Birds, Monkeys, Frogs, Pizote and my new favorite the Zopilotes. Nice jungle trails. Large rooms, each with a walk-in closet, plenty of room for everyone. "
"I can't say enough nice things about our stay here It's a beautiful, adults only hotel It feels like you're staying at a friends house if your friend has a beautiful mansion The staff however were what made the stay so great We loved Roxy, Jose, and Francisco We would stay again just to have them taking care of us Great food that seemed pricy until you go out to eat then we found it was actually the best choice to eat there Great breakfast included Beautiful pool with beautiful views Also a great place to see whales and wildlife "
"What a fabulous location. An immersive rainforest experience, with a beautiful view from our balcony. You could hear a variety of birds singing. It was music to the ears and you really felt connected with nature. If you ever decide to come to Uvita, this is the place to stay. The natural materials used in the accommodation complemented the surroundings. Very pleasing to the eye all around."
"Outstanding, and the perfect end to a travel and tour-filled vacation. Vayu is an idyllic retreat, nestled in the jungle, surrounded by trees and the sounds of nature. We were even visited by a pair of inquisitive toucans. The rooms are huge - clean and a bed with bedding more comfortable than home. Everything has been perfectly considered - design and integration of technology (most notably the lighting and sound systems). The pool is lovely for a dip to cool off, but beaches are close if you want the sea. 12 minutes drive is a cute set of cafe/restaurants, however the food on site is delicious. The set breakfast (changing daily) and dinner (and additional $60pp for set three-courses) were simple but excellently executed and tasty. The star of this place is Marc - he is Vayu. The amount of care and love he has put into their baby (sorry we didn't meet Rafael) projects into the care and attention he respectfully gives his guests throughout their stay. He is always on hand to assist, and nothing is ever too much trouble for him to help with. We would recommend staying here for a quiet and relaxing few days. A perfect end to a fantastic holiday. "
