It was just a quick in and out visit, so didn't want to pay a lot. It did the job, is a little tired, tape around mirror, wall not clean under bench, bathroom dated. But was ok for the price and the fact we only slept and left. Pillows were hard beds comfy enough. Free WiFi.

Good value and comfortable.

A small but comfortable older style unit just five minutes from the city centre and not much further from the airport. Electric blanket and reliable heating welcomed on a cold Palmy night. Staff very obliging, as ever. My second visit but not my last.

Our Always Inn Motel Unit was a great base for my family as we stayed in Palmerston North over a few days. We appreciated the heaters which kept us warm through some cold winter days. The staff were friendly and the Manager was very helpful.

Value for money

Room had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The owner is great and goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable. The electric blankets and heater were on when we arrived. Room was very clean. We would stay again.

A good value option

A good choice for a short stay. Room had all amenities and was warm and comfortable. Bathroom a bit old though everything spotlessly clean. A little out of the town centre but really only 5 minutes drive. Would stay there again.

Stayed one night en-route to Wellington. Arrived late at night due to long drive. On arrival the heater and electric blanket were on. So thoughtful! Room was comfy with everything you need for a short stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Cheap and cheerful

An older motel and the outside really needs a facelift, however, I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped inside. Everything was very clean, bright and comfortable and there were some thoughtful extras such as makeup remover pads in the bathroom. The only negative is that the entire shower needs updating and the water pressure was poor. Pretty good value for money and very friendly owner.

Close to the heartbeat of Palmerston North

Easy check in. Ian was helpful with questions I had about the town. Room was clean. Loved the complimentary peanuts. Ample sizes of complimentary toiletries. So many extras in the room if needed - hot water heater, coffee, etc.
