"Hotel has probably seen it’s day. Photo of outdoor pool shown on Expedias website was the draw to stay there. Pool is closed! FALSE ADVERTISING! General staff was very helpful and tried hard to help the guests but we were shocked to wake up to a woman screaming at the top of her lungs berating some poor fellow. "The room smelled very odd and was overwhelming. We tried to turn on the air conditioning to circulate air and cool the room but it didn’t work. We ended up renting a room elsewhere for the night. When we checked out someone put a portable air unit in the room but it was after we left. The carpets in the halls show wear and tear beyond normal and could use a replacement. We did come back and enjoy the breakfast."

"The staff went above and beyond. We have been home for over 2 weeks now, and we still keep talking about how friendly everyone was at the Hotel. They were wonderful, from the minute we woke and had breakfast until we said good night. We literally felt like part of their family. The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the grounds are beautiful and so well-kept. It was a perfect place to stay while visiting the Amalfi Coast. Grazie to the entire staff! "

"Lovely hotel, nice rooms and amazing breakfast. My only issue was we didn't received the Supreme "Seaview" room that we expected based on the Expedia photos! We were on 1st floor corner where we had a view over the restaurant and treeline. When asked if we could move up a higher floor the young woman at reception basically said no, they are expecting more guests in for the Italian holiday and the other rooms are booked. While we arrived at 2 pm check in time it became clear that they were keeping the rooms with best view for the locals coming into town. And from we could tell the front facing rooms higher were empty until the day we left. This was disappointing as we didn't come all the way from Canada to visit Maoiri and look at treetops. An"

"This hotel was in a convenient location. It was walking distances from the port, train/bus station and many rental car locations. We only had a 1 night stay to pick up or rental car before heading off. We arrived early and the hotel stored our luggage for us while we went out. The hotel is dated but comfortable. The breakfast provide was great and all the staff was lovely."
