"We were very pleased with our overnight stop in Ionia and the Super 8. Check-in was quick with a friendly person, our room was clean and cold (which was welcomed because of the heat outside). The property was near the highway we were using for our trip, and the town had everything we could ask for. There is a large gas station next door, which was convenient as we arrived late and I needed Advil."

"My husband and I stayed here while our kids were at summer camp and it was just perfect! The cozy little cabin and as so inviting, refreshing and relaxing. The proximity to the lake, abundance of windows and natural decor made us feel like we were always outside sitting right on the lake even from the comfort of the couch. We loved exploring the Fred Meijer bike trail which was absolutely beautiful and talking with the neighbors who were so friendly! Telling us about Crystal Beach, good restaurants and even took us for a boat ride! The only downside of this location is it's lovely remoteness means you have to drive a ways to find restaurants and grocery stores. Would highly recommend a stay at this little cabin! "

"Overall, we had a really great experience and enjoyed our time at the cottage. The lake and surrounding area were quaint, beautiful, and peaceful. Our dogs loved the lake, and so did we, it was a perfect spot for swimming and relaxing.The kitchen was stocked with most of the essential cookware, which was appreciated. Some items, like glassware, were limited possibly due to breakage from previous guests. A few of the pans had food caked on and seemed poorly cleaned, but that’s fairly typical for shared vacation rentals and nothing that took away from our stay.One thing to note for future guests: while the lake is a hidden gem, it’s also a tight-knit community. One of the neighbors we met was friendly and welcoming, but others were less inclined to engage and seemed a bit reserved toward visitors. It’s clear they value the quiet nature of their lake, so being respectful of the atmosphere goes a long way.All in all, a peaceful getaway with plenty of charm just a few things to keep in mind!"
