Spring break with family

We absolutely loved our stay! Everything was either within walking distance or a short drive! Access to the beach area. Indoor and outdoor pools were a hit for our kids! Will definitely be returning! My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great Location, nice Resort and the Unit Has Amazing Views

The View outside is amazing.. overlooking Pier Park, the Bayside and then an awesome Ocean Front View, "Fantastic". Tidewater Resort is stacked with conveniences and it adds to a nice comfortable stay. Staff is very nice and complimentary.

Great room! Just a couple of things

The room was really nice. We loved it and had no issues with it other than I would’ve like to have known that it was a side unit instead of a complete beachfront unit. Other than that, the only complaint I have is the same one everyone else has, the elevators.

Nice place to stay but

The condo was really nice but had a lot of problems getting a elevator! We arrived at 4:00 check in and did not get to our condo til 6:00. Elevators were hard to get and climbing 20 floors is no fun with luggage. Second day elevators had to be worked on and we were stuck on ground floor for 2 hours and then decided to go 20 flights of stairs just to get out of our wet clothes we had been on the beach.

Stay away if your looking to relax

I did not love my stay at Tidewater. We stayed over 4th of July. The condo decor was old and worn. We stayed on the 20th floor to enjoy the ocean view. The view was beautiful, however, the elevators wait was ridiculously long and then the elevators stopped working. We walked up and down 20 flights of stairs for two days more times than I care to count. My children got stuck on the elevator and they had to call for help to get out. Towards the end of our stay the alarm was triggered and we had a verbal prompt in our condo to exit immediately and do not use the elevators. My kids were hysterical and thought we going to die. People in the stairwell were crying and losing their minds. Once we got to the condo entrance we were told that it was a false alarm. The condo did not have enough blankets, glassware, or silverware. Parking was a challenge. The elevators took two days to be repaired. We were so disappointed that we left our trip a day early. We will not return to this resort nor would I recommend it to anyone. For the price we paid and what we got, it was a joke.

Great view with some minor setbacks

The view was a panoramic view with windows facing the ocean and the city!!!! We loved it so well until we never felt the need to step foot on the beach because of the view! The drawbacks were the bedroom remote didn't have batteries and was not setup for immediate use. Thank goodness my husband knows how to troubleshoot tvs and remotes. The ice maker stopped functioning. We reported it and they came, set up remotes, but said that we could buy ice and they'd reimburse us. A building that large should most definitely have an ice maker! I definitely won't worry with being reimbursed for a bag of ice. Also, some of the furniture needs updating like the sofa. Those throw pillows looked too worn for me to even want them on the sofa next to me. The cleaning crew had it cleaned to my satisfaction thank God! That's one of the most important considerations for me. However, they need to make sure the drapes are hung properly for the next guest. First impressions can be lastly, the front door needs a serious coat of white paint. At first glance, I was afraid of what might be on the other side. Overall, it was a great and much needed get away. I would stay again and I'm sure my husband would agree.

Great Place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tidewater. Everything was as it appeared and very clean. The room was stocked with all we needed to cook meals and shower. Only negative was they only provide 2 rolls of toilet paper but that isn't anything to dock too much of a point deficit. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely book again!!!
