The location was perfect, steps from the beach. The amenities of the condo were nice, I enjoyed the pool and patio balcony. The living room was comfy with excellent tv options. In contrast, the bed was very uncomfortable and the sheets cleanliness was questionable with noticeable spots and stains. I found spare sheets in the closet so I re-made the bed myself. On my final day, I needed to be out by 10:00am. I loaded my car and took a quick shower. As I was drying off (9:30am) the cleaning personnel knocked, I yelled very loud at the door “do NOT come in, I’m not dressed, I’ll be out by 10!”. This repeated 2 times, I yelled so loud at the door, there’s no way they didn’t hear me. They came in anyway and I had nowhere to hide, fully naked about to get dressed, I screamed at them until they left. Then I double checked my phone to make sure I’m not wrong, 9:37am. As a woman traveling alone, I was absolutely shaken. I complained and they refunded just the cleaning fee. These things would never happen at a hotel. I’m never staying at another privately owned condo or home. Hopefully they fired that cleaning person. The biggest safety concern though is the complete lack of a secondary lock on the door. I had no way to protect myself from anyone entering with the code.
