This gorgeous vacation home in Rosemary Beach will take you back to a kinder, gentler yesteryear. Reminiscent of an old-fashioned family neighborhood, you will love the mature trees, small park, and family-friendly atmosphere at McKenzie Cottage.

With two covered porches, it’s easy to enjoy the Adirondack chairs and porch swing as you gaze out over the small neighborhood park. The wooden porch floors add to the timeless appeal.

Once you get inside, however, you’ll realize there is nothing old-fashioned about this lovely home. While incorporating classic charms, such as the hardwood floors and natural fibers, everything is updated for the modern family and the way they live and vacation. From the marble counters to the wine cooler and the second ice maker, you will not be without in this well-appointed home.

The open-concept great room, with its many windows, keeps the home awash in natural light. The living area boasts plenty of comfortable seating so that your family can hang out together, watching the large flat-screen TV, Apple TV, Sonos Arc Soundbar, Sub, and Harmony Remote to control it all. Soft recessed lighting and a cooling atmosphere create an ideal environment for making new family memories!

The kitchen is both gracious and spacious! It will be a real joy for the family chef, utilizing the space beautifully with granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and a center island with seating for 2. A bonus butler’s pantry offers even more storage and working space.

The formal dining table is adjacent to this space and offers seating for 8. Also conveniently located on this first level is a comfortable bedroom with a king-size bed, dual nightstands and lamps, and generous closet space. A full bath offers a large walk-in shower.

The master bedroom suite is a lovely sanctuary. With a king-size bed, dual nightstands and lamps, a seating area with a side chair and ottoman, and a private balcony, one lucky couple will love retiring here in the evenings. The master bath is luxurious, with dual vanities and a walk-in shower.

A third cozy bedroom also offers a king bed, seating area, flat-screen TV, and ceiling fan. The kid’s room is last but not least, with its two sets of built-in bunks. These two bedrooms share a full bath with dual vanities and a tub/shower.

The landing on the second floor now has a full-sized desk and computer monitor for those who want to work remotely from our beautiful beaches.

Great house and great location!

Our family of 8 stayed for a week and loved it. The house is set up really well for kids and adults. It’s close to the pool and not far from the beach. We had everything we needed!

Amazing House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the McKenzie Cottage. The location was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the square in front of the house, as well as the covered parking. The house layout was also ideal for our family and offered community areas and quiet areas. We slept amazingly well on the beds as well!

One of the 4 bikes were broken and needed to be replaced, our dryer was broken even before we arrived and unrepairable. The pots and pans in the cabinet we all very dirty. Plates and glasses were clean but we had to clean every pan before we used it. We did enjoy our stay outside of those issues.

Lovely home,

Enjoyed the home. Quite neighborhood. Close to everything. We would rent again. Would suggest some window treatments on stairwell windows so light from neighbors doesn’t interfere with sleeping upstairs.

Nice house in heart of Rosemary

Enjoyed our stay at the cottage - the green outside the house was a nice place to throw a football with the kids. Easy walk or bike ride to beach or other spots in Rosemary. Very easy to deal with the rental company - one of our bikes was taken and they replaced it without incident. Thanks for a great time!

Wonderful, clean house!

Our stay was perfect! The house was super clean and all the beds were SO comfortable! The only thing I would recommend is installing another unit for the downstairs bedroom; it is super hot in there. Other than that, the house was immaculate. Thank you so much!

Amazing!

Our family of 5 could not have been more please with our stay. The house had plenty of room for our family and the location was perfect. Other than 2 trips to Publix for groceries, we never had to get in our car. Everything that Rosemary Beach has to offer is just a short walk or bicycle ride away. The property management company was very responsive to all of our questions. We will be back for sure!
