Polynesian #104 Ground Level

  • Polynesian Village Condos is the best kept secrete around PCB. You are literally .25 of a mile from pier park . It is a low rise brown 2 story complex you would almost just drive on by, nestled on the white sandy beaches. If your looking to be in the middle of all the action , and activities , you can walk to pier park from the location- but also stay distance from the large crowds being at a small old school complex. This isn't a high rise, there are no elevators or parking garages or arm bands to purchase ... you park at the door and you go on into the condo – sounds easy ? it is!

    1 bed 1 bath condos with sleeper sofas can sleep a nice family easily. Wake up to the sunrise , walk to Starbucks if you like , or catch the sunset with ease just out the slider door. Walk with your wine to dinner at Pier Park , catch some songs at tootsies. The events and possibilities are endless. Full kitchens to accommodate the gormet cook or hit up Dustys Oyster bar , diagonal from the complex. There is a on-site relaxing , never over crowded , simple pool to jump into on the lake side , or feed or fish the lake . Sometimes you may catch a local alligator in that lake , just keep your eyes out .

Beautiful Beach

This location is a ground level, not a high rise, which is a huge plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and especially the beautiful beach.

Great location!

Great location with beautiful view of the ocean! If you like spending your time at the beach, on the beach, it doesn’t get any better. Far enough away from any condo towers to keep the beach area from being crowded!

Our stay was great. Going to extend our visit next year. Walk out to the beach, I love waking up to the waves and we saw dolphins early in the morning. That was a plus. Location was great for things to do and restaurants close by. Can’t wait till next year !!!!!!!!!!

We had a good time. The location was perfect! walking to lots of shops and restaurants. Dusty's across the street has a good cheeseburger! This is not a fancy place but it was clean and had a nice view of the beach.

Simple small apartment

Location was perfect, view was spectacular. The beach wasn't crowded at all. The room is fine if you are interested in just a place to sleep and shower. That was all we needed. Perfect size for the two of us.

We had a wonderful stay here! It was so nice to unload our car right at our rental door! And being on the beach...Amazing! Thank you! The patio was perfect for having our meals, watching the ocean, the sunset! We so hope to revisit this rental in the near future!!!

Cute.worked well for our family of 4. Location, location location. Close enough to walk to Pier Park and the Pier, but not super crowded or congested. Any question we had were answered quickly by the property manger.

Great view, nice location

We enjoyed our stay. It was convenient to park by the front door to unload our things, and quite nice to walk out the back door and be on the beach. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet at night. The kitchen was tiny, but I didn’t cook the week we stayed there. The condo needs some TLC. With a few small repairs, some paint, and a little updating, it would be a real gem.

Great location right on beach

The Polynesian was a great location for us to visit 2 state parks (St. Andrew’s to the east and Camp Helen to the west) as well as Conservation County Park. We had no trouble getting in as VRBO had sent us instructions 3 days before our trip. The condo is comfortable though not upscale. You will want to bring your own beach chairs and toys, soap, shampoo, dish washing machine detergent, kitchen wash cloth, kitchen supplies like foil and baggies.

Beachside Comfort

Loved the location and convenience to all the local hot spots. Bonus umbrella and sand castle toys! Bedding a bit tired (could use a new foam mattress pad). Living area rug needs to be replaced. Lastly, the shower drain needs cleaning (slow draining).All over score 5 stars. We will be back for additional stay in the Fall.

PCB on the Beach

The views from the patio of the Gulf are wonderful especially at sunset time. The access to the beach from the patio is only steps away which is great and the beach is walkable for a long way in either direction. The unit has a nice kitchen with a lot of supplies for cooking a meal there. The living room & dining room combo is spacious with a large TV. The bedroom is good sized. The mattress is a bit soft for our liking. The bathroom is adequate with a tub/shower combination. The tub does have a tendency to drain slowly. The location of this unit is in a quiet area of the beach and is close to shopping and restaurants. We loved staying right on the beach.

Location is perfect!

We didn't have a good check-in as we did not get a code for entry, in the Access the Keys email feom VRBO were expecting. Therefore arrived in FL after thirteen hour drive to sit on phone for 80 min with VRBO customer trying to get contact with owner, then going to four hotels, trying to find one that took middle of the night arrivals. Post covid, places do not have staff in the lobby. We ended up getting a room and it worked out, then stayed other night at the condo. Just make sure you have what you need ahead of time, I had never had this type of issue. Place was good for stay, value for the money and location is perfect, both to the food and activitities being walking distance from Pier Park but just steps to the beach.

If you’re looking for simple - this is it

Overall we enjoyed our stay. If you’re looking for luxury, this isn’t it. The property could use a deep clean and an overall refresh (the bathroom towels are tired, the couch is extremely dirty, the pillows in the bedroom were super flat and overall the property was not super clean (mold in the bathroom, grimy surfaces and cabinets) but the location is great - steps from the beach! Fortunately we spent a lot of our time outside and didn’t reslly mind the negatives with the property, but just be aware. We did try to contact the host to ask about toilet paper and trash bags, didn’t get a response. Ended up purchasing our own toilet paper. We were in town for a concert, overall we would stay here again due to the proximity of the beach, but it could use some improvements.

Dirty

We were super disappointed in how dirty the condo was upon arrival. The furniture was soiled, the floor left our socks black on the bottoms and we found dirty dishes in the cabinet. We actually went and purchased cleaning products to clean the condo before we brought our stuff in. Besides needing a good scrub the condo really needs to be freshened up with new paint, the broken lock on the sliding door fixed and the peeling tile on the wall by the third sink needs to be replaced . The outside patio is nice unless it rains and the interior rug that is out there gets wet and smells like mildew . The one nice thing about this rental is the location is awesome. It’s an easy walk to the beach and the pool located across the road on the back side of the condo is nice as well. The overall area of Panama is nice and offers a lot for teens.

Very disappointed

Check in was great. Location and view was amazing! Rooms wasn’t very clean. Several things broken. (Screen door, vanity in bathroom, etc). Stove was shocking us. They did come look at it and just said we will see if it’s under warranty. We had already went and spent money on food to cook for the week. So we were out that money plus having to eat out then. Washer didn’t work that’s on the property. Vacuum was full of nasty green water or something. I reached out about all the problems we had after the stove and didn’t get a response. You also only get 1 wash rag and 5 towels for the week. Very very disappointed with our stay this week.
