Ultimate Beachfront Getaway: Gulf front condo on the 20th floor!

Welcome to Ocean Villa 2006!

If relaxing with stunning views of the beach and the sound of the surf are what you’re looking forward to, then this is the condo for you! This beachfront condo is located on the 20th floor of Ocean Villa and has unobstructed 180 degree views of the world renowned Emerald Coast. With an oversized balcony, you can enjoy your morning coffee with a view, as well as evening drinks, while you take in gorgeous sunsets or watch the storms roll in. I’ve even seen end-to-end double rainbows from this vantage point! There are lots of kid-friendly attractions and restaurants nearby, or, head down to one of the three pools, Jacuzzi, or the beach, via a private gate with direct beach access. The unit is spacious, with two bedrooms, each with en suite full bathrooms, and a sleeper sofa – the condo sleeps a total of six.

What I Liked

Beautiful beach and loved the sound of the Gulf at night. Would be so much better without the odor of weed being smoked everywhere and wafting into our rental unit. Traffic noise pretty loud late into the night. Lounge chairs on the patio would be nice too.

What can I say? Beautiful, immaculate, great location, quiet at night. We had a wonderful time. Kitchen complete with full amenities. The furnishings were regal. Just a Beautiful property and comfortable stay. Magnificent views with huge balcony. I would definitely want to stay here when I return. Thank you so much

Beach get away

Great trip! Surprised by Thunder Beach weekend. Never been to Panama City and I’ve never heard of this. It was interesting. Really enjoyed the airshow on Saturday and Sunday with the Thunderbirds! I would come back but not during thunder beach.

Absolutely beautiful

This was such a great place to stay. The beach is so beautiful and the condo is really nice. 2 pools and a huge hot tub. the unit was perfect. It was spotless, seriously, no kidding, spotless. The leather couches were very nice and comfortable, even the beds were comfortable. loved it all. We will definitely be staying here again. Not crowded at all and never had to wait on the elevator. Our unit was upgraded and it was lovely. Thanks for a great week.

no response to problems

We enjoyed the property, but there were some problems. I tried to call about them, and left a message, but no one called back. Usually got message that it was after hours. I do not think it is a good policy to only have one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, i have never stayed anywhere that did not supply toilet paper.

Family vacation

We had a great time. The condo had everything we needed. This property has 3 elevators which we loved not having to wait!!! Parking was tight in the condo garage but no issues finding parking the lot across the street!!! Great times!!!!Thank you so much Ocean Villas. We will be back!!!

I received a code to enter condo 5 minutes before my check in at 4:00. The code they gave me to open condo did not work, only the early check in code worked for the entire trip. I sent a message with no response

Nice but could be better

The area is nice, beach is phenomenal, lots to do, close by Walmart and restaurants. The property manager misinformed me stating that there is no beach chairs/beach necessities. Also told me there isn’t an iron or ironing board. There were some beach chairs, boogie boards as well as the iron and ironing board that I unnecessarily packed. The place itself needs a deep clean. The baseboards are covered in dust and are very dirty. The main entrance door needs to be replaced. It is very dirty and beat up. When there was wind, the door was moving and making a loud banging sound as if someone was knocking on the door. Washer destroyed my clothes and towels. Towels came out soaked out of the washer, had to repeat spin cycle a few times. Dryer doesn’t dry at all. Had to restart the cycle about 4 times for clothes and about 10 times for towels. Refrigerator is all rusty, very old! Doesn’t cool very well. Dishwasher and oven worked well but could use an upgrade. Overall the place was ok, could use a few upgrades and a deep clean then I’d give it 5 stars!

Good stay

Over all it was a good place to stay at. We didn't have enough towels and only one toilet paper roll per bath room and the refrigerator didn’t cool our cold foods and drink too good but over all the place was fairly clean.

Needs cleaned!

This unit has not been dusted in many months. The vent in the main area was absolutely filthy and I cleaned it off myself because it was that bad. The whole condo needed dusted and stains needed cleaned off of curtains. I would not stay here again due to the condition of the condo however we still had a great time at Panama City and will be back.

Amazing Views!!

You can't beat the views from this condo!! The common areas were pretty well maintained. The condo was clean but could use some sprucing up.

Excellent!

Only suggestion would be to have a keyless entry or 2 sets of keys! Also directions as far as linens for end of stay! Otherwise it was wonderful and the beach chairs came in handy!

Unexpected city chaos

The Panamanic event, city craziness of thousands of people and sirens, and shooting across the street was no where near the relaxing vacation I hoped for. Quite disappointed with the overall experience.

Do not stay here!

We had stayed at Ocean Villa last year in a different unit and had a very pleasant stay. The location for us is perfect and we really wanted to stay there again this year. We stayed a month each time. Unit 2006 was a real disappointment to say the least. Here are just a few of the issues we had with it: the balcony furniture was not like what was pictured. There were no chaise lounges which we really enjoy. There were only 3 chairs and a table. I called and two weeks later another table and four chairs were brought over. The dryer does not work correctly. They tried to fix it, but it was just somewhat better: only had to run through the 60 minute cycle twice instead of three times. The refrigerator was nasty and old. The dishwasher worked, but it would pull out every time you opened it. The kitchen is very understocked. We had to buy teaspoons (there were none), cutting board, measuring cup and spoons, pot holders, etc. One of the burners on the stove did not work and only half of the stove light worked. There was a mixer but no beaters. The ceiling fan pull chains are not long enough to pull. There were not enough towel racks (one was coming off the wall in one bath, but they did get it fixed) or hooks to hang things. The unit was not clean. We are talking dried vomit (someone did come and clean after I complained). It was just plain dingy. On the plus side: the beds were comfortable.
