"A nice hotel but as it was the start of the season, a little disorganised in terms of the rooms, what was provided etc. The first room allocated was under the bar and very noisy at night. There were also constant issues with corridor lighting not being turned off. We moved rooms eventually, which did help. However, overall I wouldn't go back because of the noise issue and the general quality of some of the rooms."

"I would just like to thank both Nikos and Katerina for all their help on my time at Kontessa, the view and location of this property is lovely, Guya who deals with housekeeping was so lovely and helpful, unfortunately I feel ill 2 days before the end of my holiday and Katerina could not do enough to help me.. "The private entrance to the property was the first indication we had chosen for something special for our stay on Kos. Our week at Ta Spitakia was so relaxing that we spent less time at the beach and just lazed around the villas outdoor seating area or on the private sun loungers. The staff were exceptionally helpful and contactable 24hrs a day. The villa was cleaned thoroughly every day and had everything needed from making a cup of coffee to a family dinner. "Really nice property, cleaned daily and stocked up with drinks. Conveniently located for beach and restaurants. The only things to make this better would be to have some soft light in the bedroom - it’s either the blue light or all lights on. Not great if you want to read a book. The outside light only worked if the key was in the electricity slot so you couldn’t have it on for when you come home in the dark so it would useful if this was changed. Otherwise everything was great. "

"A lovely but basic apartment right on the beach with a small pool. Had the pool to ourselves most the time. There is a bus stop opposite or about 20 mins walk to centre. We were out of check in time so emailed but received no response, we called and they had received email. They sort check in so if you don't have a reply it will all be fine "

The warmest welcome greeted us on our arrival and Evi's kindness and helpful manner continued all week. "Can barely qualify as a resort. It is old, stayed one night had to check in late but the reception was far from the rooms, waited for golf cart to take us to the room but took forever so had to walk. The breakfast was rough. Only redeeming quality was the large pool. Beach is rocky. "
