5/5 Excellent
"We had a very enjoyable and restful 5-night stay here. The accommodation was very comfortable and in a convenient location for getting around the island (and travelling to others), while being nice and quiet as well. It's a shame that the restaurant is currently out of action but there are plenty of options in quite easy driving distance (although we would advise booking ahead, as a lot of them were quite sought-after). And an excellent breakfast was laid on (and a packed meal for the day of our early departure) by the very helpful staff. Also, there's a well-stocked Asda just across the road. It was a lovely holiday and we're very grateful for the opportunity to visit such a wonderful place. "

Magical sojourn
"The island and cottage were exactly what we needed. There was peace and quiet, which allowed us to slow down and breathe. The local residents we met were friendly and welcoming.
The island needs a little investment but we really hope mass tourism doesn't ruin its tranquility."
