"Stay was average. Room was fine, except my daughter saw a small roach, which was a bit unsettling, so we just tried to shake out our things before leaving (😬) but none others were spotted. Main complaint was that as my family and I were finishing breakfast, the lady that was cleaning up decided it was acceptable to leave us, and another family who was also still finishing up, in the dark. My family and I grabbed our food 15 minutes before they stopped serving at 10, and we were in the dining area until about 10-15 after 10am. The lady didn't say a word to any of us. She cleaned the area, and as if the area were empty with no one there, she just turned off the light with 2 families still seated and finishing their meal! I have never had this happen elsewhere. Will not return. "

"Didn't have much interaction with the staff. We were only. There for 1 night. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, however we did not have a hair dryer. "

"Yelling and screaming all night from other guests. We left. Felt so unsafe. Bathtub leaked and floor soaked. Walked on floor and feet were black. No sleep. Checked out next day. "

"The Alder Hotel was conveniently located for our trip to see Tulane and get a taste of New Orleans. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious and the hotel staff were all so friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to some good places to eat. And the outdoor pool was a nice bonus after we spent a long day walking all around the city. "

"Gym was pretty light in terms of other hotel gyms I’ve been too. The pool and jacuzzi didn’t look clean so I didn’t even bother trying to go swim. Overall it was alright "
