"A nice B&B. Great location. Easy to walk to everything. There was free parking in the rear. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. Room was spacious and had bedside tables. Do bear in mind this is an older building so their is some wear and tear. Next time we are in the area we will definitely stay here."

"A very comfortable stay at a 'classic' single storey motel where you park directly outside the door to your room. The room provided everything we needed: two comfortable beds, a fridge, microwave, coffee maker. En suite shower over a bath. Quiet - got a good night's sleep. A short drive of about 5 minutes to Annapolis Royal for an evening meal. Basic but perfectly adequate breakfast including a waffle maker, toaster for bread or bagels, cereal and yoghurt or milk, cheese, jams, butter, fresh fruit and muffins . Tea, coffee and fruit juice available. Friendly and helpful staff. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again."

"Great staff property is is dated but they are actively updating it. Everytime we come the have updated something in the room. Great value for the price very pet friendly. Everyone we met loves dogs. Rooms have good sound proofing. Wonderful fluffy white towels. Beds are very comfortable and new."

"Très bien situé, idéal pour visiter le centre ville d’Annapolis Royal à pieds. Annapolis Garden, Fort Anne, rue St-Georges etc… Endroit paisible. Juste à l’arrière du gîte il y a un sentier pédestre et un marais pour observer les oiseaux. Les hôtes sont facilement accessibles."

"The Lark and Loon is an extraordinary place. You feel transported as soon as you reach the door. Our hosts created an exquisite inn, filled with antiques and books of the era. There is even a historical fun fact scavenger hunt through out the house. Our room was beautiful was lovely. They thought of everything from gourmet coffee and tea in the bedroom to bathrobes. Kevin, aformer chef, made an amazing frittata for breakfast, with warm home made biscuits. He is also an expert on the history of the area. Our one regret was that we could not stay longer. "
