"Great stay at Angela Apartments and would recommend as very good value. Apartments are basic but clean with comfortable beds. Our apartment had 2 bedrooms and 2 balconies. Bathroom has been modernised but other parts of the apartment could do with updating. Staff very friendly and drinks at bar are reasonably priced. "We chose these apartments for their location as we were getting an early ferry to Kalymnos. Although dated our apartment was clean and comfortable with very good air conditioning. Our only issue was an unpleasant smell coming from the shower room but we were only staying one night so we didn't report it."

"We booked a twin bedded studio with kitchen area. We were given a tiny dark room with one bed and a balcony facing an internal courtyard and staff’s homes. We asked numerous times for the room we had paid for and finally moved 24 hours later. This room was still nothing like the photos on Expedia and the air conditioning was broken. "Staff friendly and helpful. Good sized pool. Good location 5 to 10 minute walk to main bars, restaurants and harbour/old town. Close to beach 5 minutes walk. Good size rooms with two balconies one overlooking pool but no sea view. Cleaned everyday. Only negative was air con not working in lounge area bit hit and miss in bedroom was reported but as end of season not fixed whilst there but didn't detract from overall pleasant stay and would return."

"Please stay somewhere else!!!! We stayed as a party of 4 with 3 rooms. Our room didn’t have hot water in the morning and their response was that we needed to wait until 9 or so. Our friend’s rooms, which were not near the office, had no Wi-Fi and it wasn’t addressed. The beds were hard, cheap and you were able to feel the springs. We were all sore in the morning. "The private entrance to the property was the first indication we had chosen for something special for our stay on Kos. Our week at Ta Spitakia was so relaxing that we spent less time at the beach and just lazed around the villas outdoor seating area or on the private sun loungers. The staff were exceptionally helpful and contactable 24hrs a day. The villa was cleaned thoroughly every day and had everything needed from making a cup of coffee to a family dinner. "Though it says that they will come and get you from the airport when I contacted the property they would only do this until 9pm. No good for my Easyjet flight arriving at 9:20pm. This left us in the taxi queue which took more than an hour to get a taxi. Apparently in high season it can take 2 hours! Taxis very expensive, 28 euros for 10 minute ride. There is not much in Marmari. The map looked like Anthia was set back a couple of blocks from the beach.in fact it is surrounded by scrub land....

"A lovely but basic apartment right on the beach with a small pool. Had the pool to ourselves most the time. There is a bus stop opposite or about 20 mins walk to centre. We were out of check in time so emailed but received no response, we called and they had received email. They sort check in so if you don't have a reply it will all be fine "
