As bathroom was on ground floor we found it easier to sleep downstairs. As owner did not speak any English we feel more information about the local area, doctors, chemists,shops etc would have been useful. Overall we had a pleasant stay."

"There was one downside of this place - the creeping service fees which are not declared on the Vrbo profile. The website announces that bedding is provided, but then the owner writes to you to ask for €10 per person for sheets and towels. On arrival, you are told to use a screwdriver to clean the shower drains of hair before you leave. Then on departure, with minutes to spare, you are told to clean the whole place yourself or pay another €50. It’s not unusual to ask for a cleaning fee, but...

"We had two weeks at this wonderful Gite hosted by a wonderful couple - Brigitte and Thierry. They were very welcoming and their Gite was perfect for three of us, very tastefully decorated and set in an olive grove, lovely to sit and relax in. "This is a new gite in a refurbished building situated in a very large garden adjacant to the owner's home. The owners were very friendly and discreet. The swimming pool was lovely especially as we arrived in a heatwave. There is nice baker for baguettes and croissants 2 minutes by foot, and also a small cafe and a pizza takeaway. The pretty village of Eygalieres is two miles away and has a good selection of restaurants and an interesting market on Fridays. Highly recommended."

"I loved the location, right across the street from the old city. There was a grocery store next door, very convenient. The property seems to be student residences as well as hotel and has laundry facilities, safe bicycle storage, recycling, an exercise room and breakfast for an extra fee, which we didn't do. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was fine, the shower was great, the room was very spacious, but with a characterless, unadorned feel. Still, over all, good value. "
