"This is in such a wonderful setting & such a peaceful feel about it. I was hoping it was going to be a wonderful holiday but this was above & beyond my expectations. "We were traveling as a family with three young adults and two grandparents - and this was a fantastic find! The bus is a bit expensive (5 Euros per person/trip) but if you don’t have a car, well worth it. We had two cars and had to search for parking for the second, but I think we just missed that info. "It was a superb all-around experience from the moment we walked in. We were greeted with a great welcome, and our very heavy luggage, which we lugged from the train station, was quickly taken away from us and stored until our room was ready. As a bonus, once our room was ready, it was taken up and neatly stored in our room ahead of our check-in. Our check-in process with Roger was thorough and professional. The property is beautiful. Not a single disappointment. The room and bath were spacious and well-appointed—such a fantastic touch with the complimentary mini-bar. We only spent a day as a layover on our journey to Florence. I wished we had more days. This property was more of a five-star and a masterclass on hospitality."
