The staff at the front desk had little to any customer service skills sadly they were too busy talking amoungst themselves. The hotel had a pool and the path from the pool to anywhere in the lobby was completely wet.

That's what tells the story. I eliminated several other hotels before landing on this one and consequently booked two rooms for coworkers the following week. I had no issues at this hotel and the recent reviews accurately reflect the experience you should expect.

We came to eat food and see the museums, and Hell's Kitchen is ground zero for foodies! We found great places to eat within a 15 minute walking distance. Two things we didn't prepare for.
