"The grounds were beautiful. The pool was warm and clean..a car is needed as there is not many places that are safe to walk to. The description says there is a beach, there is no beach on property or walkable. We had an amazing dinner at Portale nearby recommended and arranged by owner. "I had trouble with airplane changes that needed to be changed (I had put down the wrong date for the return flight). I tried to do it online and by phone with no success. After a half hour to 45 minutes I went down to the front desk for help. After about a half hour of her talking in Italian, I received conformation of the changes. Both of them at the front desk were helpful, kind and patient with me. I couldn't be happier."

"This place has spectacular views and looks like a Hobbit Village set in the hills of Tropea area. Elevator to the beach is excellent and property is extremely charming. There were plenty of things to do and see (views of volcano, swimming, pool bar, evening music). Power is dated and could use an upgrade but a cute mini-village with some spectacular gardens and scenery."
