From Tropea you can also embark on an unforgettable excursion to the Aeolian Islands. From the lighthouse in Capo Vaticano (15 km) you can see as far as the distant Aeolian Islands on clear days; Vibo Valentia (20 km) an ancient Greek colony rich in religious and civil architecture.
