"La Cuvellerie is a beautiful and comfortable old estate in the quaint village of Narcy, close to the Sancerre wineries. Our host Marc was the kindest man, finding us an open restaurant when we we arrived late in the evening, helping us with our personal needs, even frying us eggs for breakfast. The rooms are quaint and comfortable, showcasing 300 year old construction techniques with hand-hewn beams and dowels. As with any old home, it has its charming ideosyncracies. "Absolutely gorgeous property with an incredibly friendly and helpful owner. We arrived quite late on the first day and she phoned up and booked us a table at a local restaurant so we didn’t have to find somewhere to eat. Would definitely stay there again."

"Belle halte pas loin du canal, accessible à vélo. Seul point noir la restauration il fallait réserver la veille pour l'auberge et pas d'épicerie dans le village. "The on-site manager clearly goes all out to make this location perfect. It is spacious, modern and clean. The kitchen is well appointed and the laundry room is a big plus. A few minutes from Vezelay by car, the area is pastoral. What a find!"
