The rooms are gorgeous and breakfast was as nice as you’d expect. Super convenient location and easy walking to both Les Halles station (including Westfield shops) and a hundred bars and cafes. It could be a little noisy in the wee hours and the immediate street front has no car traffic but is mildly gritty/lively

We had a deluxe room, which was sufficient for two friends with two suitcases and different schedules. One thing to note is that the hotel has its own (designer?) scent so if you are sensitive to strong fragrances you may wish to request an unscented room or linens in advance.

Lovely little hotel. We were very skeptical when we arrived, as there is a s*x shop across the street and a "love hotel" next door, but we were pleasantly surprised once we went inside. The hotel is decorated in a funky, modern style, and was very pleasant. Breakfasts were wonderful. The location was fairly central as well and was very walkable to metro stations and other attractions.

We absolutely loved our stay at this unique boutique hotel in one of London’s most historic and artsy neighborhoods. The hotel does a wonderful job of embracing the character and history of the area, creating an atmosphere that feels both authentic and thoughtfully curated. One of our favorite details was the way the historical theme was carried throughout the property. The rooms were named after fascinating historical characters, and the brass accents, vintage touches, and old-library-inspired décor gave the entire hotel a warm, sophisticated atmosphere. It felt like stepping into another era while still having all the comforts you want from a modern boutique hotel. There was something interesting to discover around every corner, and the attention to detail really made the stay memorable. Rather than feeling like a hotel with a theme simply added on, the history and character seemed woven into the identity of the entire property. The location was also fantastic, surrounded by the creative energy, architecture, and charm that make this part of London so special. It was the perfect base for exploring the city while giving us a stylish and atmospheric place to return to at the end of the day. Overall, this was such a memorable stay. If you appreciate history, design, and hotels with a strong sense of personality, this boutique hotel is a wonderful choice. It’s the kind of place where the atmosphere is just as much a part of the experience as the room itself.
