Great location. Small rooms but that’s expected of just about any hotel like this in Paris. Staff was very accommodating. Lots of dining options around the hotel. Within walking distance or bike ride to almost anything you want to do in Paris. Close to metro. Would stay again.

Did not have high expectations, but the rooms are better than expected, with air condition and the receptionist helpful. The building itself is rather old and the elevator does not go all the way to the top floor. Walked home during the night and was approached multiple times by men sitting in their cars soliciting segs, so beware of that as a woman

At first, the hotel seemed charming and had the appeal of a small boutique property. However, our experience quickly went downhill. The building is quite old, the rooms are small, and the entire hotel had a musty, damp smell that made the stay uncomfortable. The continental breakfast was very limited, and it was disappointing that the room did not include basic amenities such as a safe or a small refrigerator. We also had a major issue with the front desk staff. The young woman at the desk argued with us about our room type — we had booked a premium room (which is supposed to be larger), but she insisted on placing us in a smaller one while still charging the higher rate. After several frustrating calls with Expedia, it was finally confirmed that we were correct. Only then did she contact her manager and admit the mistake. The entire situation was handled poorly and left us feeling unwelcome. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again. Very disappointing experience.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Bonne Nouvelle. The location is excellent, within walking distance to supermarkets, plenty of restaurants, and well connected by public transport. Reception is available 24/7, which was very convenient since we were traveling with our baby. The room was simple but very comfortable. It would have been even better with a small fridge, but we managed fine. The elevator is quite small, but having one at all is a plus in Paris. A highlight of our stay was the private transfer from the airport arranged by the hotel, it made our arrival much easier with a baby. On our last day, we accidentally lost our room key card, and it was replaced immediately without any issue. The hotel offers baby cots for an extra charge, though we didn’t use one since the bed was spacious enough for the three of us. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend Hotel Bonne Nouvelle.

Cramped but cite

It is a typical Paris hotel; clean, small, noisy. We liked it a lot. But I do wish we had known that the tiny elevator only goes up to the fourth floor, and there were 33 additional steps to drag up our suitcases.

Room located on 5th floor. Elevator only goes to 4th floor. Location on side street with a lot of graffiti around. Staff very nice. But you coukd see something behind their desk that monitors all the a/c’s. We found the temperature of our room turned back up 3 seperate times!!!

Very clean, neat room after somewhat tired hallways. The elevator was tiny but worked and we were happy to have it. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again for the price and location.

Petit hôtel à proximité immédiate d'une station de métro et des grands boulevards, il est situé dans une rue au calme. L'ascenseur est étroit et seul un client et une valise peut l'emprunter. La chambre était assez petite en taille et disposer d'une mezzanine ou se situé la salle de bain, celles-ci se trouvant sous le toit etait surchauffé par la chaleur extérieure avec les températures caniculaire. La climatisation utilise un logiciel pouroptimiser l'énergie, cependant au reveil, la télécommande était eteinte lors des mes 2 nuits.
