Hotel de Sevres is a charming boutique hotel with a pleasant staff who remember you as you go in and out, leaving and picking up your big old fashioned room key. It is in a very convenient neighborhood with boulangeries and restaurants at every turn. Americans accustomed to separate standup showers with barriers that do not easily leak may wish for a little more in the way of creature comforts. But if you can live with European style showers in a tub with a showerhead on a flexible metal hose, you will have a very nice stay.

We had a great stay at Hotel De Sevres. Not only was it located in a very convenient spot to walk to almost everything but the staff was very friendly and helpful 24/7. Rooms are a bit small but we were only there to sleep!

Great property! Staff were attentive and despite not getting breakfast we enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee during the day. Clean room, adequate space. Air conditioning worked great which was amazing during the hot weather. Bathroom also well maintained. We got a balcony in our room which was a nice surprise! Would definitely stay here again :)

Excellent location. Several metro lines within a few minutes walk. Wonderful choice of restaurants, cafes, and wine bars surrounding the hotel. Staff above and beyond helping with any questions or concerns. Lovely back patio area and comfortable indoor area for gathering. Nice room with powerful air conditioning. Wine vending machine was awesome. Tea and coffee self-service set up with little snacks and chocolates was fun. (Available 1pm-11pm). Away from the noise and hubbub but close enough if you wanted to walk to the hubbub!! Highly recommend

This was a small bedroom and bathroom. But over all it was very clean. No bed bugs like some of the other reviews had mentioned. The carpet could be better, it does look pretty worn out. It does smell a bit of old vintage hotel. Maybe if the windows could be open more often it could be better, which i really like having the windows open anyway for fresh air. The staff was nice. I did not however like that we were charged for hotel fees way before we even got there. Typically you get charged when you check in or out. But overall it was a very nice stay. Convenient location many restaurants and things to shop for near by. Walking distance to the Eiffel tower and many places to walk to.

I stayed at Hôtel de Sèvres for four nights and, unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations. The main issue was cleanliness. There were hairs and crumbs on the bedroom carpet, the bathroom did not feel properly cleaned, and the bedsheets were stained and smelled of sweat. A dirty towel was also left in the hallway for several hours. These are basic housekeeping standards that should be maintained regardless of how busy the hotel is. My stay coincided with a heatwave, but the air conditioning had not been switched on before I entered the room, making it extremely uncomfortable on arrival. The walls are also very thin, so noise from neighbouring rooms and the corridor was easily heard. I was also uncomfortable with the requirement to leave the room key at reception whenever leaving the hotel. I understand that this may be the hotel’s policy, but it felt unusual and inconvenient. Some members of staff were friendly, but overall I did not find the team particularly warm or approachable. Given the price and location, I expected a much better standard of cleanliness, comfort and service.
