I stayed here for 3 nights. It was clean and quiet and good value for the price. The staff was very friendly. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that were a few minor maintenance things that could use some attention but nothing that really effected my stay in a negative way.

Staff very pleasant. Bathroom grout in room 2 had mildew around shower stall. Blow dryer gets very hot with minimal use. Did not notice air conditioning in room or heat control but overall hotel temperatures were great. Very quiet sleeps.

This was the 4th time we stayed at Hotel Marais de Launay, For us the location is perfect and the staff is always exceptionally friendly. We feel like it's our home away from home in Paris. This was the first time we stayed here with our 4 year old son. While booking i mentioned him and they gave us a quiet room facing the patio. Which was fantastic! Because this was our fourth time visiting, the hotel offered us free breakfast, it was a fresh and complete hotel breakfast which we really enjoyed. We will definitely visit more often in the future!

Staff were wonderful. Really, really wonderful. And they deserve a lot of praise as they were so friendly and helpful. But the stay in the room was horrible. There was mold in the washroom, and a chemical smell in the room that caused a severe allergic reaction for me. There were holes in the curtains and holes in the blanket on the bed. For reference, we paid $1500 Canadian for three nights. From Canada, I expected this price per night to give us a nicer room experience than this. I wasn’t thinking luxury, but not a 2 star room. Luckily I found another hotel to switch to as my throat and head were so bad, and Expedia helped me, as did the hotel, granting me a refund for the second two nights and we found a different hotel down the street to switch to.

I made this reservation the morning of my last day in Paris. I was pleased to find a great deal in the Marais district. The room was small but I had everything I needed for the few hours I’d be there. The staff was friendly and stored my luggage until I could check in. The location is great- on a quiet street but within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. Overall a great experience.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Paris. Perfectly located, super friendly and helpful staff, near to restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, metros. The rooms were just what we needed - clean, comfy bed, fridge, windows that open fully, and plenty of space to unpack your luggage into. There are two very lovely areas to relax in downstairs next to reception, and there is a water dispenser that not only serves extra cold water, but sparkling water too! The reception is manned 24/7 and nothing is of too much bother. If we returned to Paris we would definitely stay here again. Thank you :)
