This hotel was divine. So stylish and cozy. Very much like a Soho House property. The rooftop is incredible. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are beautiful. The staff is tremendous and gracious. They allowed me to store a bag for 3 days after I left as I traveled to the South of France. Location is incredible, Rue Martyrs south of the hotel has everything and is so charming. Uber across town to Le Marais or the Champs or Gare de Lyon is only $14-$16... great walk from hotel down to Louvre esp. if you go through the arcades. Just a lovely neighborhood and incredible, kind, thoughtful service. Bravo! I will stay again and again. A truly one of a kind hotel experience! - Jason Romaine

While the hotel was perfectly pleasant with a moody, rustic vibe, we had some trouble with reception. We very much enjoyed the service of the gentleman behind the desk, and of Dounia, the Guest Relations Manager, but we had significant trouble with one girl at reception who did not seem at all empathetic to struggles we had during our stay, and proceeded to act significantly rude and flippant to us after our first interaction. We received bad attitude from her every step of the way. When a fire alarm went off, and we walked down five flights of stairs to evacuate, she laughed off the situation and explained it as the kitchen “trying something.” Additionally, upon check out, it seemed we were charged twice for a bottle of wine and they did not believe me until I showed them the double charge on a printed out bill. Had it not been for this one reception worker, we would have had a perfectly pleasant stay, however due to her attitude and behavior I could not recommend this hotel.
