Close to Gare du Nord

I chose Hotel Jarry because it is close to Gare du Nord as I was leaving for London on the EuroStar quite early in the morning. A plus was that it was within walking distance to the Louvre and therefore other tourist sights.

A very great stay at the property

I loved my stay there, everything was well organized and the environment was very much ideal to flexibly move around. The shopping & outdoor activities there are easily accessible, so, I do highly recommend this property.

I liked the distance from the station Gare du Nord. Friendly staff, changing towels regurarly. I didnt like the breakfast, no choice, all the time the same a baguette and croissant. Very small bedroom, tiny staircase.

The location was good and the staff also. I was pleasantly surprised with the key card lock. However, the room I was in had a damaged flush for the toilet and the shower mount was unusable as it was wrongly fixed to the wall.

A Conveniently located hotel .

Stayed there for 2 nights . Everything was okay except without elevator . Guests with heavy and bulky baggage should ask for a room on lower floor . Hotel staff was helpful and accommodating . Breakfast included was the bonus . The other good thing about the hotel is being close to the Gare de Est . All in all , the hotel is ideal for one or 2 night stay in transit in Paris .

The Hotel is basic. Reception team were very friendly. Rooms are small but they are fairly ok. Roads around the Hotel are very busy with lots of people, are just hanging around doing nothing which everyday and noght and it was a bit intimidating especially if you are a single female or with kids. Only because of this reason i wont be choosing this location for any future trip. We felt we might get mugged at anytime which was unsetteling.

Not as nice as it looks

I was on the sixth floor with no lift and steep spiral staircase. My room was small with old furnishing and looked nothing like the rooms pictured. There was a small TV stuck right in the corner where it was difficult to see. The room was clean but hallways looked a bit grubby. Breakfast was ok but basic.

A disaster, no elevator, the room open the door jump on the bed, close the door. Open the windows mice on the outdoor walls. Not a safe street to walk after sunset. Breakfast a joke, all restricted, second coffee to pay as well as a second orange juice. Expedia should remove this hotel. I have pictures to prove.

Pros are it is an easy walk from the Eurostar train station and near bars and restaurants. Cons are it’s tired and dated, and carrying our luggage up 6 flights of stairs at age 65 was not fun.

This is a basic hotel in a very convenient location for the Gare du Nord or Gare de l'Est. The room was small but adequate with a good shower. On the minus side breakfast was 15 minutes later than advertised - an issue if you have a train to catch - and tge streets immediately around the hotel are not very welcoming, although they improve as you walk south towards Ile de la cité.

The hotel was so dirty! There was a cockroach in my room. I could not sleep due to the loud noise from the streets . The staff was very impolite, and there were only people around the hotel area that looked as if they wanted to pickpocket you. Please remove this hotel from Expedia it is my worst experience ever.

Das Hotel ist beim Bahnhof, was zugleich praktisch und seltsam ist. Das Zimmer war ok, das Bad uralt, aber in Ordnung. Frühstück für 8€: ein halbes Baguette, ein Croissant und ein Kaffee. Leider nur eine Marmelade dazu, das war’s. Wir haben uns Käse extra gekauft, da war das Frühstück auch okay.

Terrible stay. First the area is packed with africans lottering in every corner. We arrived late night and felt very insecure walking from the Train station to the hotel. Second worst thing is that we got a 5th floor room in a hotel with no elevator. We had to carry our luggage all the way up in a very small stair. If you are not fit or have a heart condition there is no way you will make make it to the top carrying a 50 pounds load. Unconfortable beds, dirty bathroom and floor, hot room with no A.C, front desk trying to sell us a $9 euro coffee and plain croissant breakfast...
