Wake up under the rooftops of Paris, with the bell tower of Saint-Paul church framed in the bedroom window, right in the heart of Le Marais, Paris's most walkable and most alive neighborhood.

The space is a light-filled top-floor apartment that combines elegance and character. Authentic designer furniture sits alongside art and antique objects from the 1940s and 50s, collected at auctions and antique dealers. The result is warm and lived-in rather than staged. My former partner and still my business partner, is an architect, so the shelves are full of architecture and design books: good company on a slow morning or a rainy afternoon.

High-speed Wi-Fi and the kitchen table that's genuinely comfortable to work at with your laptop or notebook, make it easy to stay a week or more.

The bedroom looks out over Saint-Paul and the Parisian sky, calm and quiet six floors above the street. The queen size bed is genuinely comfortable, with two pillow types including a firm option, and there's a large wardrobe for longer stays. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower.

The kitchen is compact but fully equipped: cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle and toaster, everything you need for breakfast at home or a proper dinner cooked with what you find at the market.
A washing machine and dryer are stacked in a private laundry closet just across the landing, shared with only one other apartment on the floor.

The building is 19th-century stone, beautifully built, and you're surrounded by the Marais at its best: historic hôtels particuliers, Place des Vosges and the Picasso Museum, the perfume and cosmetics houses the quarter is known for, the restaurants and cafés, and the boutiques that make this the epicenter of Fashion Week and the city's creative pulse.

Saint-Paul metro (line) 1 is 7 minutes on foot, putting the Louvre, Notre-Dame and the Seine within easy reach.

Important to know
The apartment is on the 6th floor; the elevator serves the 5th, so there is one flight of stairs at the end. Bed linen, towels, tea and coffee are all included.
