The room was decent but has changed a lot since I visited last time; not well air conditioned and smell out of the bathroom. I felt it wasn’t worth the money. Would have been ok if the price included breakfast to offset the condition of the room.

Hotel is conveniently located next to a large mall and subway station for easy/convenient access to central Paris. The room was large and clean with a great, unobstructed view of central Paris, including the Eiffel Tower. Staff at the front desk were all very present and helpful

We liked the convenience of Hotel across road from Metro station, M1 direct into Paris, Hotel was clean and good selection for Breakfast with plenty staff clearing tables so no waiting, The room was good we had good view of Eiffel tower from bedroom window, Reception staff excellent giving advise on how to get to attractions easily,

100 meters from the metro line 1 so straight to paris center in 10 minutes, and lots of great restaurants in Levalois or Courbevoie and La Defense within walking distance. On the river so great views of Monmatre and eifel tower

We liked the location which was close to the metro and a short walk across the bridge to Neuilly which we really like. However, we thought this was a poor 4 star hotel. - air conditioning in the room was poor which was not ideal when it was so hot over our stay - the safe in the room was broken - the hotel and room generally seemed in need of update - we stayed in this hotel many years ago and it does not appear to have changed since - reception staff seemed not interested, and certainly not welcoming. On arrival, 2 reception staff were sitting talking in a separate room - certainly not business from body language, after some time waiting they came out, no bonjour, no welcome, just a look as we had disturbed their conversation. I may be wrong but it seems this hotel is so full of large group tours, they forget the individual. - On leaving, reception again - wanted to charge a second time for city taxes which I had already paid on arrival. However, it was for me to prove I had paid so had to open my bank app to prove it - it seems they had problems with their IT systems which had not updated the payment - a minor but indicative point, 2 small paper cups in the room for tea / coffee.

We were there during a heat wave so we appreciated the AC in our room, even though it was set to not go below 26C. The room was really large with a separate sitting room and large bathroom with a bathtub, shower and double sink. It was a great view of the Seine and we could see the Eiffel Tower in the distance. The lobby had no AC and was very hot but the restaurant was cooler. The breakfast room was quite warm and the food was only adequate.

Air conditioning is controlled centrally, the room temperature you set is not real. The whole hotel feels hot. I went next door to the Melia Hotel and when you enter the lobby you could feel the cold of the AC working fine. I think the hotel owners want to save money by not cooling the hotel properly. Also as a tourist I feel the prices of the restaurant are high because most people in the hotel are business related guests, so they do not care much about paying crazy prices for food the restaurant and apart from being expensive the portions are small. The positive thing is that the hotel is very close to the metro line1.

Staff and location are the best part of the hotel. Location is few meters from metro station so you can travel to Paris center in few minutes. Rooms are small and the worst part was no air conditioning. Manager didn’t want the accept the fact and he proposed to send a technician. I heard from one of the staff that air conditioning wasn’t working properly for few days and Paris temperature was aggravating the issue. The fact is that build is made of glass outside so temperature increases tremendously inside the rooms.
