Overall an excellent stay.PROS1). Amazing location just north of the Hotel de Ville in Arrondissement 3. 15 minute walk to Notre Dame, 20 minutes to Lourve. Lively neigborhood with cafes, boutique stores, and lots of places to eat of different cousines. You really get a feel for Paris2). VERY responsive host. She answered all our questions extremely timely and the welcome packet was very useful. 3). Well stocked kitchen and linensCONSMost of these are relatively small things and may not be an issue for many people but I feel that is worth pointing out.1). Flat is on the 2nd floor and the stair case is one of those narrow circular French staircases. So, understand if you are traveling with older people where stair climbing is a problem.2). Since we are on the topic of stairs, the stairs to the loft are somewhat steep so some caution is advised when using. 3). The shower and laundroom is accessible by 3 large steps down a corridor from the kitchen. One needs to be very careful when using because of the tile and there is no handrail. 4). The washer / dryer is an all-in-one machine but effectively the dryer is not usable. The host recommended a public laundry around the corner for drying but the in flat hanging rack worked out fine. Just plan ahead that washing will need to air dry.In summary we would definitely consider staying here again but the idiosyncrasies of the flat should be understood.
