"The house was clean and comfortable, and in a great location across from the Luxembourg Gardens. The only issue was getting in the house. Lock box location and directions were confusing and we arrived at night. We had a bit of a language problem when we called to get clarification. "It a great location but the apartment was not at all comfortable. We visited in July and Paris was warm. The bedroom/bathroom is in the basement with no windows or ventilation, only a dehumidifier. The stairs are really just a ladder making it awkward to get luggage down. The ground floor is fine, but with 1 operable window, there was no cross ventilation. You could leave the door open, but those at the gym across the courtyard would watch you sitting in the sofa. And without screens, all the...

"Hosts were excellent. Stairs not ideal for older people. Should have been cleaner. Good proximity to parks for children and to Metro. Not as well stocked as we expected. For example, only one bar soap. Small washer/dryer that was slow; good dishwasher; excellent fridge, oven, stove, micro. Main level not air conditioned so could get unpleasantly hot."
