"The property was very nice and clean. I was a little misled with location information. We were looking for something close to mammoth cave and the listing stated 16 minute drive, we couldn’t find that route and it was more like 45 minutes. Maybe if we took the green river ferry but it was only open from 8-6."

"Upon arrival we noticed an odor. I had assummed the property was non smoking but soon found a pack of cigarettes above the microwave. Kelly left us a note stating the dishwasher was broken..not a big deal as we would only be eating in a few times. Housekeeping was lacking a bit. Dishes and utensils in the cabinets had food on them. The dining room table had a sticky residue in a couple spots.The dryer lint trap was so packed the dryer would not dry. We had very little cell service in the area...

"This house is in a very peaceful area. House was clean and comfortable. Loved the sunroom. Due to high water levels it was difficult to use the dock. Lost power, but it was restored quickly. Kitchen is nice and well-stocked. Pans are in rough shape. You definitely need to bring food to cook as there is no place close to eat out or get groceries. We enjoyed Nolin Lake State Park and Mammoth Cave State Park. Overall a nice stay."

"The Redbird Hideaway is a beautiful place to unwind with family. We drank out coffee each morning on the covered porch listening to birds. It was cozy without being crowded and close enough to mammoth cave and lake nolin for us to get some hiking and fishing in during our stay. Highly recommend."

"Our family had a very nice 3 night stay. The weather cooperated as much as we needed, and the large covered deck helped out when the weather couldn't contain itself. Mammoth Caves are a very short drive, and the drive to Bolling Green (for the Corvette Museum) was beautiful. The owners of the property could have been more helpful, and responsive. "The house was very reasonably priced so we did not go with high expectations. The location is great with spectacular views of Barren Lake. Everything is very simple with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. The rental was clean and comfortable. It could use updating but for the price it is more than reasonable and I can completely understand the owners not wanting to invest. Altogether we had a great time. Thank you"

"We enjoyed our stay here. The house and surrounding property are both beautiful! We loved the grill and the porch swing. We longed to use the fire pit, but the weather didn’t cooperate. Echoing another reviewer, there are only 4 places to dine indoors and we had almost constant rain, so we couldn’t use the ample outdoor dining spaces for our family of 6. "Cleanliness was above. It rained hard one day, but to sit on the porch and smell and listen to it was what I needed. The big surprise was there were feral cats, and it made me feel like I was home. The worst part was having only three days, and I had to leave. Thank you again. I am looking forward to many more stays."
