Great stay!!

Our group had an awesome stay! There were lots of activities to do to keep us entertained inside and out. Kelly was very communicative and the check in/out process was smooth. Will recommend this booking to anyone looking!

Great for all age family vacation

Great house on an excellent location. I was surpised on how well the rooms were sound proof. We could put a baby to bed upstairs and the adults and teens could make noise down in the game/theater room without disturbing the young ones.

Perfect Venue for Large Group

We had a family trip and this venue was perfect. Large enough to fit everyone with great amenities and communication with the property owner. Would definitely like to book this venue again.

Spacious home with room to spread out.

Family weekend we rented this property. Beautiful area and the home had enough room for 14 of us to sit together for meals, but enough room to spread out and get away from each other when needed. Game room got a lit of use and home theater was awesome. Only downfall is the address listed didnt match location in our GPS. Had to use the VRBO app to find the actual location.

Girls Trip

House was perfect size for a group of 14 ladies. We went in April, so unfortunately the weather wasn't conducive to outdoor activities, but I'd love to come back at a time where we could enjoy the lake!

Great Home and Location

This is a beautiful property with the space, bedrooms and amenities that our large family needed. Lots of parking space for trucks and boats. Fishing on the Fishhook river and lake are above average. Local lakes offer other great fishing opportunities.

Great place for snowmobilers

The property served my group of snowmobilers very well. Plenty of bedrooms. Perfect for 10 guys. It was a great spot for the beginning of our snowmobile week. Thank you Kelly.

Family Gathering

This is a great place! We loved the separation of the bedrooms upstairs so we could put the younger ones down for naps and still spend time in the main area. Beautiful kitchen, porches, and views. The activities downstairs were a hit with all, and the town itself is really cute! The only thing I’d suggest is to bring a few extra blankets, as some of the rooms were hard to adjust at night.

Great Large Family Venue

Our family, including our five children & their families, traveled 8-12 hours to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. This lake house offered us so many opportunities to gather as a group in the kitchen/great room area as well as smaller groups on the 3 different porches. Privacy was possible with the ample rooms & 3 bathrooms. We enjoyed swimming-kayaking-fishing-Olympic watching -campfires-shopping at some unique boutiques in Park Rapids as well as worship time together on Sunday!. So many great memories were made! Thanks!

Great place for a weekend getaway

Upon arrival, the place was beautiful. The interior design and layout is gorgeous. Spacious and roomy for our group of 11. Our favorite spot of the house is probably the theatre room, the bean bag in there is so comfortable! Everyone loved it. Would love to get one for ourselves. Overall we had a great time there and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay. We’ll be back for sure. Thank you!

Kansas Family Summer Vacation

This is our second time in the Park Rapids area and all 16 voted to return in the future! Our email communication with Kelly during the process of booking and prior to arrival was excellent. By the time we got there, we were all ready to have a great time with no concerns or questions. Everything was as stated. In fact, except for going to the headwaters of the Mississippi at Itasca State Park (well worth the pretty drive) and to pick up more groceries and fishing worms, we spent our time on the pretty property/river/ lake/home. What a perfect place with so many activities/amenities for ALL ages! It was exactly what we all wanted for our lake vacation. Thank you and God bless!

Large Family? No Problem!

This place has so much space! The kitchen island is huge, which is great for multiple people cooking and eating at once. The bedrooms are almost all isolated from the living areas, allowing folks to retreat and relax effectively when they choose. The basement entertainment is high quality: electronic dart board, nice pool table, and movie/gaming room with excellent acoustics. The Christmas tree upstairs was a nice touch for our family’s holiday gathering weekend. The host is responsive and kind; he even said he would ship back our toddler’s beloved stuffed animal that we left behind!

Very cool property, perfect family retreat

We stayed at this property for a family retreat celebrating my parents’ 50th anniversary. Our ages ranged from 9 to 70+. Really a perfect setup - great combination of indoor and outdoor activities. Theater room is great, enjoyed the pool table, darts, and blackjack table in the game room, kitchen is huge and well appointed. Plenty of beds for our party. We rented the pontoon and Kelly, our host, graciously gave us a tour of how to get on to the main lake. Kayaks got a lot of use. Location is great - close to a very cute downtown Park Rapids. The architectural features were very, very cool. Check in was flawless and check out was easy. Loved our stay and would definitely stay again. 5 stars for sure.

Vacay at its Best!

My large family loves this place! (14 peeps, ages 6-65) They enjoy all being together under the same roof instead of separate cabins. Rented the pontoon for the week, Had a Taylor Swift era tour viewing with the grandkids in the theater room on a rainy morning. I caught a huge bass of the dock, and the grandkids caught multiple pan fish and we're entertained for hours The owner has everything you need! We missed coming here last year because the timeframe was already booked. But, we are on top of the game for next year! My only suggestion would be to bring a few containers with lids for leftovers and maybe some ziploc bags. Thanks for another week of amazing memories!

the home was beautiful

Our family vacation at this home was wonderful. There were 14 of us this time and everyone said their beds were very comfortable. The entire family enjoyed the movie room and the pool table. We were there in July and a couple days we were very warm and humid, the air conditioner had a hard time keeping up. We ended up going to Walmart and getting a few more fans to circulate the air. I have trouble walking so the climb from the shore to the house was difficult for me but the rest of the family thought it was great exercise. I would recommend this home to other families. The people in the home the week before us had put some pans away greasy so we washed everything before we used it but that certainly was not the home owners fault. I always rent a pontoon for our family vacations, the one that we got with this home was probably the most expensive I have ever rented and was not the nicest but could have been all that was available in this area. Again, I would recommend this property for a family gathering.

Great place for our large extended family. Sleeping areas are mostly separated off from high traffic areas which helped a lot with our littles. Nice sandy beach with slow sandy drop off for kids wading. Nice quiet protected spot on the river/resivour with the big lake not too far of a boat ride.

This property provided everything we needed for our family. The cabin has plenty of space for our large group. We enjoyed the screened in deck with a lovely view, the patio outside the master bedroom, the downstairs theater room & game room, and the kitchen area. The kitchen has just about everything we needed. We had little ones who loved the private beach area with a shallow entry and crystal clear water. The pontoon was great, too! Kelly was responsive and helpful. We look forward to going back!

Absolutely perfect for our family!

Thank you for a wonderful week! This VRBO is a great place to gather with family or friends. The living areas and bedrooms are clean, spacious, and so accommodating! The kitchen is well-stocked, bedroom and closets have hooks for clothes and drawers, flat surfaces, etc. to store things. The game room and movie room are perfect for hours of fun. There’s a basketball hoop outside and a volleyball net… basketballs and volleyballs are right there for our use too… which prompted us to notice how this owner had pretty much thought of everything! … and we were reminded of that often during the week when we looked for something…. it seemed we always found what we needed.:) (even sand toys down by the beach!) The big lawn space was especially nice too for corn hole tournaments, kick ball, baseball, frisbee, etc! Great fishing off the great dock for little ones wanting to fish. And we so appreciated being able to leave our boat in one of the available slips all week. If there was a “6 or 7…or 10 star” rating to give this place, we would! But since there isn’t, we will give it the best we can, and lock it in for the 5-star. :) It was absolutely perfect for us… can’t wait to come back again. Thank you again!
