"A bit of a drive from I-5, but clean property. Nothing in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, but fairly close drive to limited selection of restaurants. Hey, it's Coalinga; so just a rest stop to get between Norcal and Socal."

"A quiet, quaint room on a large property with a great view! Amenities exactly as described, with little extras too! Coffee bar with all the fixings, travel bath supplies in case you didn't bring yours, even binoculars and a bird-watching book if you're lounging around. Unfortunately we were only there to sleep really, as we had full days wandering Paso with friends also staying nearby. Don't let the drive on the dirt road or the pot holes on the approach scare you - keeps the property private and others don't accidentally wander in!"

Chatted at the firepit And of course took the Hearst Ranch winery tour ( thank you Scott and Christina) and drank some outstanding wine. Close to many wineries and breweries. We also shopped in SLO CAL which was very nice. Thanks for being a superb host. We hated to leave. "

"Great views of the surrounding vineyard. Property is a bit removed from the main area but was a perfect place to relax and unwind. Very clean spacious. Loved sitting on the patio in the morning watching the deer and rabbits. Would stay here again. "

"The house was clean and spacious and nicely decorated. We went for one night for a family funeral. We filled the house to capacity but we didn't have a problem getting ready to go in the morning and with the nice big sofas and spacious area, we fit perfectly and were not on top our each other. The game room is in the garage which is a short walking distance (10-20 step) from the house, was spacious and filled with things to do also soundproof as well so you don't disturb the neighbors. The only negatives like comment I would make is that when we walked in the house, it had a musty smell when we walk through the hallway towards the bedrooms and in the bedrooms as well. It wasn't unbearable, we sprayed deodorizer and it was fine. Overall we had a great experience at the house and the owners we dealt with were very nice and quick to respond every time we had any questions."
