"I was really excited to find a capsule/pod hotel in Whistler of all places. They're not common in North America, and staying in Whistler is normally insanely expensive. If not for Pangea Pod, I probably would have slept in my car. The pod is definitely more comfortable than that. There were a couple things I didn't like, though. I had an upper level pod and it got quite warm inside. The temperature in the shared space was comfortable, but with the curtain closed, the pod got warm enough that it made it a bit difficult to sleep. There's a small fan built into the pod, but it's loud and didn't seem to do anything to reduce the temperature. Second, as I mentioned, there are curtains on the pods instead of doors. Apparently this is due to provincial building code requirements, which is unfortunate, because it means noises in the common area, like bathroom doors closing, are very audible, even when people are trying to be quiet. Besides that, the property was very clean, including all the shared spaces, and the location is excellent. I would absolutely come here again on my next solo visit to Whistler, or maybe even with my wife. But I do hope they can do something to make the pod temperature more controllable."

"The Sun Dail is a dated but large rooms make up for that. It a long with others has been in Whistler a long time. Great location for the restaurants and shoppes. Very walkable to anywhere in the Village. Parking is a little tricky with tight spaces to park. Only issue my wife was about to take a shower and the tub did not have a shower curtin"

"Clean and quiet room. It has a mini kitchen. Not really that soundproof as you can hear people from the hallway. What I really liked was the fireplace which was very relaxing to see at night, with lights off, and the free bottle of white wine, which I did not expect. Very good choice of wine too. :) will surely keep in mind and will come back for future accommodation."
