"Old Genoa apartment is a fantastic place to stay, located in the UNESCO Listed Old Town, it's close to everything, except the new town. Walk to the train, the harbour, cafes & restaurants, funiculars pretty much anywhere of note that you'd like to go. There are 2 flights of stairs though which aren't mentioned, we are in our 60's and had 2 x 25kg cases to lift but managed it. The rooftop verandah is absolutely fabulous for breakfast, dinner, any time really, though the stairs are narrow and...

"We stayed here for a couple of days prior to our cruise, and it was a great location for that. Check in was easy, although finding the door again can be tricky, look for the sign. One thing to note is that there is not a living/sitting room, we just sat around the dining table and chatted. Rooms are good sized ant the beds are comfortable. Better than a hotel room for a few nights, we'd stay there again."
