Disliked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
We booked villa Candia specifically because the listing advertised it as a 5-minute walk to the centre of Naoussa. In reality, it's roughly a 35-minute walk along a road unsuitable for pedestrians, particularly children. We were travelling with four children and had chosen this property specifically for its advertised proximity to town, which turned out to be inaccurate. I can see the advert has been changed since however, you can imagine our suprise when we arrived and were left in the middle of nowhere with 4 children. We weren't told the actual location until 14:15 on the day of arrival, by which point we were already in a taxi en route. When we raised this, the owner said it was due to a technical/mapping error and denied any responsibility. Despite raising this directly with the owner, and Vrbo, no compensation has been offered. We'd encourage anyone considering this villa to independently verify the actual distance to Naoussa centre before booking, rather than relying on the listed walking time. Not a great experience at all and wouldnt recommend.
