"Pros: Sitio excelente. Nosotros estuvimos en la casa del jacuzzi y no tuvimos queja. La cocina tiene de todo (tostador, exprimidor manual, batidora, sartenes, ollas, paños de cocina, fairy..). El acceso al pueblo es una pendiente bastante empinada, y el aparcamiento compartido con la otra casa para dos coches un poco justo, pero igual se puede aparcar un poco más arriba. Regina fue muy amable y nos proporcionó información sobre qué ver en los alrededores."

"This mountain house was positively delightful. While it was in a pretty remote location, the views were breathtaking. It's located in a quaint tiny village on the Cares trail -- definitely bring provisions with you as the kitchen is perfect for cooking meals (and the food is so good in this area it's hard to make a bad meal). "It's a perfectly nice small hotel with a good restaurant & wonderful breakfast. Large comfortable, well-equipped room and bathroom. What slightly let it down for me was that it doesn't quite have all the amenities listed - or it's complicated! The website says bike hire on site but actually they do not have bikes on site - you'd have to book via a different company who deliver the bikes etc... not straight-forward. More geared towards serious cyclists with their own bike. But that wasn't clear. Think I also saw somewhere about care hire on site - I was told no, I'd have to pick the car up in Gijon. (However may have mis-read that). There isn't a snack bar really, only food from the restaurant menu. The hotel is not walking distance to any proper shop or cafe so I found it inconvenient to have absolutely no snacks or small plates like a tostada available on site, you always have to order an expensive plate from the restaurant. Not even fruit, muesli bars, nuts, something like that, which would make sense when the hotel is geared towards sport and exercise; and on the other hand towards business guests. These are small annoyances I know - otherwise a good convenient hotel with great cycling and walking routes from the door."

"Well no one piece of paper telling us anything about hotel facilities so no idea if there were any except the obvious swimming pool which clearly needed to have leaves etc scooped off it. No menu for the di ing room so no idea what they offered so we went out every evening and dined in the town. Nothing available telling us what tourist facilities were in the town like boat trips, visits to the Picos. Breakfast offering dull and repetitive,only warm items every day were dried out scrambled egg, bacon either baked to a crisp or hardly cooked and salchichas . Cold items like lomo or ham did not look fresh. Staff spent most of the time chatting to each other down one end of the room. No manager or maitre d running things or directing replenishment. Large box of teabags with coloured tags but nothing identifying what each flavour each colour represented. Tea could only be made in cups and the milk was three metres away. Why not have a pancake maker in the room making to order, we had delicious freshly made ones at much simpler places along the coast. Man sitting on a chair outside the front door, no assistance offered with bags either going in our out and he sat about 1 metre away from a discarded coffee item in a metre high flower bed. Did not feel that the hotel made the best use of their lovely setting and building, why not showcase the lovely old part and give the staff a shake up before the season starts, there are other hotels in town!"
