"We had a good week here, the room was large and clean with plenty of room for us including 2 teenagers. The pool was great and much enjoyed by our 13 year old. Breakfast was enjoyable with decent coffee, and the live band on the Saturday night was ‘entertaining’ and much fun. The hotel is well located if you have a car, we were able to drive to local towns and theme parks all within an hour and also close to the ferry in desenzano. "Easy and free parking, comfortable air conditioned room, nice breakfast and friendly staff. In short, a pleasant place to stay in the countryside. It’s not luxurious but ticks all the boxes if you’re looking for solid accommodation. We didn’t use the swimming pool but it looked nice. The restaurant on the premises served a delicious pizza and there’s a view of the lake from its terrace."

"Fabulous belle époque hotel with perfect service that isn’t overbearing. Absolutely stunning grounds and art nouveau interior. The pool was refreshing and relaxing, the views were gorgeous. Great breakfast with a lake view. This really feels like traditional high end lake living. The history is fascinating too—check out the Salo museum for an hour while you are here. Only complaint was the air conditioning couldn’t quite keep up with the extreme heat wave."
