"It was a decent stay: hot water, clean rooms, right next to the market, and easy to catch a cab. We heard the area was a bit dangerous, but we didn't have any issues, and the hotel is locked up at night. The only issue is you have to ring the doorbell to be let in, and you can hear the buzz all throughout the hotel, so we were woken up multiple times."

"IT'S A HOSTAL. I know I know, its listed as a hotel but, it's indeed a hostel. No TVs, no AC, no dressers to put your clothes away. Now...LOCATION is a 10, safety walk to restaurants, bars and the lively downtown area. STAFF 10. Front desk staff were patient and accommodating to the best of their ability. FOOD... 10. No need to go out (of this hostel) for a delicious, made to order Ecuadorian breakfast. The grounds are very pretty and the waterfall view is incredible. I'd recommend this HOSTEL...
