"The room was great. I liked the kitchen facilities which suited my needs. It was clean and well maintained. The staff was professional and attentive. I liked the fact that I could turn on and off the air conditioning to suit my needs. The breakfast has a good selection Having a restaurant on the premises was good and the food and service was great."

"I was greeted warmly upon arrival and helped with my bags by a welcoming Front Desk associate named Alfredo. Prior to arrival the staff was communicative and really went out of their way to arrange for an early check-in as I was traveling from a very long distance.. the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The A/C worked well and the breakfast was delicious. Note that there are a lot of stairs if you do have heavy luggage. The location of this hotel is truly fantastic. I was able to easily walk to all the main attractions and catch the bus to the airport."

"The decor and furnishings in the communal areas were absolutely stunning. So stylish and unusual. Very helpful staff, lovely pool although a bit cold when we were there- beginning of October. Breakfast was ok. Loved having access to the beach club. Our room looked good but was let down by a smell of damp and seemingly no ventilation in the bathroom."

"Wonderful location just a few steps from the cathedral. The rooms are simple but very nicely furnished; some with spectacular views from a balcony. The breakfast room on the top floor offers wonderful views (including of Mount Etna) and outside eating. The staff could not be more helpful or nice. There is an elevator, but it is necessary to negotiate some stairs as the levels are split. So enjoyed being right in the heart of the city. Since the windows are all double paned, the noise of the street does not penetrate."
